On 21 June, RFLS Junior-High honored the Class of 2023 with a grand graduation ceremony. Our ninth graders formally closed a chapter of their junior high academic education and moved on to the next stage of their lives.

In his opening speech, Mr. Wang Jinsong, Vice Principal of RFLS Junior High School, spoke fondly of the changes he has seen in the students over the past three years and encouraged them to cherish the time and opportunities they will have in the next three years of high school and to continue to be curious, dare to take risks and pursue their dreams.

Our distinguished parent representative, Mr. Wang Yasong, expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to be part of this ceremony and celebration as he congratulated our students on their graduation and thanked the school by saying, "Over the past three years, the school has instilled in its students not only knowledge and skills, but also high aspirations".

Mr. Cui Peng, Year Leader of the Class 2023, advised the graduating students to “develop a sense of responsibility for themselves, their families and society; become lifelong learners; respect and embrace cultural diversity and strengthen intercultural communication”.

The Outstanding Graduate Representative, Zhou Jinghan, expressed her gratitude to her parents, school, teachers and classmates, and addressed the graduating students by sharing her graduation reflections, saying, "This is my sixth year in the BRS family, and I am happy to say that I have grown step by step into the person I want to be. I have also seen each of my classmates around me grow from naive children to teenagers who are beginning to take charge of their lives, hone their skills and grow into better people through the opportunities that the school provides".

The highlight of the ceremony, and always the most anticipated part, was the presentation of the graduating class' gift to their alma mater. The artwork is called 'Thrive' to signify that the graduates will thrive in their future life opportunities. Using two different materials, ceramic and wood, the upward spiraling form symbolizes the interdependence of the two pillars of the RFLS: the development of students' intellectual abilities and moral sensibilities, and the cultivation of multiple talents and global awareness.

Closing the ceremony, Mr. Cen Jianjun, Chief Supervisor of Beijing Royal Campus, encouraged our students to continue to work hard, have high aspirations and a patriotic spirit as they will soon enter a more challenging phase of learning and strive for greater academic success and personal growth. He offered sage advice to "develop good study and life habits; insist on international education and tell China's stories on the world stage; focus on all-round personal development and develop team spirit".

The ceremony also featured artistic performances by our students. Their stunning performances were greeted with thunderous applause from the audience. During the ceremony, the list of graduation diploma recipients, the winners of the Outstanding Graduate Awards and the Outstanding Student Union Cadre were announced.

Congratulations again to our graduating 9th graders. We at RFLS wish you the best of luck in all your future endeavors. Remember that wherever you go, your alma mater will always remember you with great affection.
