This year, we divide students into groups according to their levels. Students are divided into native and non-native language classes. Regarding the teaching of native language classes, on the basis of following the "Chinese Teaching Standards" and "Chinese Teaching Syllabus", we have simplified the language for the children to a certain extent, so as to better adapt to the Chinese level of BIS students. For children in non-native language classes, we have selected some Chinese textbooks such as "Chinese Paradise", "Chinese Made Easy" and "Easy Steps to Chinese" to teach students in a targeted manner.

我们根据学生的水平对学生进行分班，孩子们被分为母语班和非母语班。关于母语班的教学，我们在遵循《语文教学标准》和《语文教学大纲》的基础上，为孩子们进行了一定程度的语文简化，以便于更好地适应BIS学生的中文水平。针对非母语班的孩子，我们精选了一些诸如《汉语乐园》、《轻松学汉语》和《轻松学中文》等中文教材对学生展开有的放矢地教学。

The Chinese teachers at BIS are very experienced. After obtaining a Master of Teaching Chinese as a second or even third Language, Georgia spent four years teaching Chinese in China and overseas. She once taught at the Confucius Institute in Thailand and was awarded the title of "Excellent Chinese Teacher Volunteer".

After obtaining the International Teacher Qualification Certificate, Ms. Michele went to Jakarta, Indonesia to teach for 3 years. She has more than 7 years of experience in the education industry. Her students have achieved excellent results in the international "Chinese Bridge" competition.

Ms. Jane holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages. She holds a Senior High School Chinese Teacher Certificate and an International Chinese Teacher Certificate. She was an excellent volunteer Chinese teacher at the Confucius Institute at Ateneo University.

英伦学校的中文老师们都颇富经验。Georgia老师在取得汉语国际教育硕士学历之后，在国内国外的中文教学方面已经有4年多的经验，曾赴泰国孔子学院任教，并获“优秀汉语教师志愿者”称号。Michele老师在取得国际教师资格证后，曾去印度尼西亚雅加达任教3年，在教育行业有7年多的经验，她的学生曾在国际“汉语桥”比赛中取得优异的成绩。Jane老师是文学学士和汉语国际教育硕士，执有高级中学语文教师资格证和国际汉语教师证书，曾是亚典耀大学孔子学院优秀汉语教师志愿者。

In order to let children love Chinese culture and enrich their cultural heritage, the teaching of Chinese classes is closely related to traditional Chinese culture. During this year's Mid-Autumn Festival, we conducted the teaching of traditional Chinese culture with the "Mid-Autumn Festival Week" as a unit. The children learned the poetry of the ancient Su Shi and learned about the moving legends related to the Mid-Autumn Festival. Making lanterns, painting autumn fans, painting hand-written newspapers... The children were very happy!

为了让孩子们热爱中国文化，丰富孩子的文化底蕴，中文课的教学与中国传统文化联系密切。今年的中秋节，我们以“中秋周”为单位进行中国传统文化教学。孩子们了解了苏轼“但愿人长久”的美好祈愿，学习了“后羿射日”“嫦娥奔月”“吴刚伐桂”的动人传说。做灯笼，画秋扇，画手抄报……孩子们不亦乐乎！

The teachers of the Chinese group have always adhered to the teaching philosophy of entertaining and teaching students in accordance with their aptitude. We hope to fully explore and cultivate students' language ability and literary accomplishment through teaching methods such as interactive teaching, task teaching and situational teaching. We encourage and guide students to improve their Chinese listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in the Chinese language environment and the international language environment of BIS, and at the same time, look to the world from the perspective of Chinese, and become qualified global citizens.
