流光一瞬，华表千年。

漫步于中华五千年艺术文明的浩瀚星河，回首于西方古希腊艺术之源。从秦朝的宫廷舞蹈到古希腊的悲喜剧剧场表演；从唐朝的琵琶、长笛表演到文艺复兴时期的绘画、音乐全面繁荣。艺术塑造了中外文明，如今国际化的艺术之声仍在时代乐谱中回响。

The history of art and civilisation in both Eastern and Western cultures is long and profound, and today art still influences many students.

为培养具有国际化审美能力和创造力的学子，广州斐特思已将“艺术教育”作为全人教育的重要组成部分。4月22日下午，斐特思国际艺术节在校园内隆重举行，一系列精彩纷呈、形式多样的艺术表演为师生和家长们献上了一场视听盛宴。

FCG has made "Art Education" an important part of holistic education to cultivate students with international aesthetic abilities and creativity. On the afternoon of 22 April, the FCG International Arts Festival was held on campus with exciting and diverse art performances, providing students, teachers and parents with a visual and auditory feast.

中外方校长致辞

中外方总校长郑雷女士和盖朗宁先生为本届国际艺术节致辞。

The opening ceremony of the International Arts Festival featured speeches from both the Expat and Chinese Heads of College, Mr Gakes and Ms Julie Zheng.

无论是抽象派还是写实派，这些学生艺术家们以细腻的笔触和生动的形象，把情感和绘画作品融为一体，给予参观者美好的心理体验和积极的情感共鸣，让来宾们流连忘返。

Visual pieces of art which blended emotion and artwork together was on display. These included abstract and realistic paintings, providing visitors with a positive emotional experience and resonance.

时装作品展览

在玻璃上反射出点点星光的时装作品，为来宾们展现出它们的独特魅力和格调。同学们通过充满艺术感染力的作品展现他们的审美能力，令人赞叹不已。

The fashion show displayed unique charm and value, with glass reflecting starlight.

 乐器演奏歌唱

孩子们在校园内演奏大提琴、钢琴、吉他等乐器的经典乐曲。

Children play the cello, piano and guitar.

艺术作品展览

国际艺术节视觉艺术作品融合了中西文化，不仅有绘画、时装展览，还有精美陶艺作品、阳光印刷和扎染手工作品等。艺术家们通过视觉艺术的方式，与来宾们共同感受多元文化的奇妙和价值。

The student's artwork showcased the fusion of Chinese and Western cultures through various forms, such as ceramic works, sun-printed pieces, handcrafted tie-dye works, etc.

《Oh Mamma Mia!》音乐剧表演

观众观看表演

由中学部演绎的音乐剧《Oh Mamma Mia!》引起观众们的阵阵掌声。音乐剧的音乐、舞蹈和戏剧元素相互融合，呈现出绚烂多彩的效果。学生们倾情演绎的关于亲情、责任、成长与梦想的故事扣人心弦，令人沉浸其中久久难以忘怀。

Performing arts were also on display, with the Middle School performing the musical "Oh Mamma Mia!" which received applause from the audience for its vibrant blend of music, dance and theatrical elements. The students' passionate interpretation of the story about family, responsibility, growth and dreams was compelling and unforgettable.

芭蕾舞表演

由Olivia同学表演的《海盗三宫女变奏》芭蕾舞，舞姿优美、动作流畅，仿佛一幅绝美的画卷，让来宾感受到肢体艺术的极致美感，让人难以从中移开视线。

Olivia's ballet performance of "Le Corsaire Variation" was graceful and fluid, like a beautiful painting that captivated the audience with its ultimate beauty of body art.

小学部展示音乐剧《Sing the Storm Away》，歌曲以轻松、富有活力的旋律引起观众的共鸣，一股积极、乐观的情绪油然而生，激励着大家朝更美好的明天前进。

The Primary School also presented a musical called "Sing the Storm Away," with light and energetic melodies that resonated with the audience and inspired optimism and positive emotions.

中学部充满青春活力的舞蹈——《Fearless 青春无畏》，将舞者们的热情和勇气完美展现，把无畏的精神淋漓尽致地呈现出来。同学们将音乐、动作和表情完美融合，展现出极高的舞技，让观众感受到了青春的无限魅力！

The Middle School's lively dance "Fearless" perfectly showcased the dancers' enthusiasm and courage, conveying the spirit of fearlessness through a  perfect fusion of music, motion and expression.

《Can You Guess Our Special Days》歌曲表演

小学部合唱团带来了原创歌曲《Can You Guess Our Special Days》，呈现了小学生探索世界的好奇心，充满童趣和纯真，让观众们也不自觉嘴角上扬。

The Primary School choir performed an original song called "Can You Guess Our Special Days," which showcased the curiosity of the students and was full of childlike innocence and joy.

斐特思拓展课程（舞蹈）合作方江波舞蹈带来拉丁舞《让我们一起摇摆》，舞曲旋律欢快、舞姿轻松热情，让观众感受到热情奔放、充满活力的踢踏舞氛围。

The Latin dance "Let's Jive" exuded a vibrant and energetic tap dance atmosphere.

苏格兰传统舞蹈表演

作为苏格兰办学历史超过150年——英国斐特思公学的兄弟学校，我们以一支苏格兰传统舞蹈——《凯利舞》压轴。这支舞曲具有浓郁的民族特色，让人仿佛置身于苏格兰，感受其文化的独特魅力。

The traditional Scottish dance called "Ceilidh Dance" can be considered one of Scotland's best cultural experiences. As a member of the Fettes College sister schools in Scotland with over 150 years of education history, FCG hopes to lead everyone in experiencing the unique Scottish culture through this dance! The dance made people feel like they were in Scotland experiencing the unique charm of its culture.

在国际艺术节的最后，所有表演者们一起登台演唱《音乐赞颂》。中外方总校长郑雷女士和盖朗宁先生代表学校，用鲜花和歌声致谢台前幕后付出的工作人员，感谢亲临现场的观众们，谢谢一直以来支持广州斐特思的家长们。

At the end of the International Arts Festival, all the performers took to the stage to sing "Thank You for the Music" together. The Expat and Chinese Heads of College, Mr Gakes and Ms Julie Zheng, thanked the staff, audiences and parents with flowers and songs.

2023年国际艺术节已圆满落幕，但学子们追逐艺术的脚步从未停歇。广州斐特思与剑桥视觉表演艺术学院 CSVPA达成深度战略合作伙伴关系，利用 CSVPA的艺术专业知识和本校超一流的艺术设施，打造大湾区专业艺术书院。除共享 CSVPA的优秀师资、专业艺术课程外，双方还将定期举办专家论坛、师生交流、艺术工作坊、行业研讨会等。

The 2023 International Arts Festival concluded successfully, but the students' pursuit of art has not stopped. FCG will establish a deep strategic partnership with the Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts (CSVPA) to create a professional Art Academy in the Greater Bay Area, utilising CSVPA's artistic expertise and FCG's excellent art facilities. In addition to sharing CSVPA's wonderful team of staff  and professional art courses, the two sides will regularly hold expert forums, teacher-student exchanges, art workshops, industry seminars, etc.

同时，学校还为有意向往艺术专业发展的学子定制高端艺术课程。学生可享受剑桥大学的艺术资源，参加剑桥艺术节。斐特思剑桥联合艺术书院，为学生提供3+0或2+1专业艺术升学路径，助力学子进入理想的艺术类大学深造。

Furthermore, the school will offer high-end art courses tailored for students interested in art and academic goals. Students are able to  enjoy the art resources of Cambridge University and participate in the Cambridge Arts Festival. FCG and CSVPA Art Academy will offer students 3+0 or 2+1 professional art paths to help them enter their ideal art universities for further study.
