在亚加达国际预科AIC的大家庭中，学生们有充分的机会展示他们的才华和创造力。10月27日, IG2的学生们在导师Victoria的带领下, 为AICer呈现了一场以“国庆”为主题, 令人印象深刻的早集会。此次早集会不仅是一次精彩的演出，更是一次了解中国文化乃至多国文化的体验。

Within the close-knit community of AIC, students are provided with ample opportunities to showcase their talents and creativity. On the 27th of October, under the guidance of their mentor, Ms Victoria, the students of IG2 put on an impressive assembly centered around the theme of "National Day." This assembly was not only a captivating performance but also an educational journey into Chinese and, indeed, various other international cultures.

此次的早集会由同学们IG2 的Yex Diao和Danish RAVINDRAN主持。全体师生以奏唱中华人民共和国国歌拉开了早集会的序幕。早集会的意义远不止于为学生提供一个展示自己的平台。IG2选定的主题“国庆”不仅激励着他们去探索具有中国情怀的国庆与不同国家庆祝国庆的方式，还拓宽了他们的视野，深化了对我国国庆及对不同文化的理解。进一步为学生未来的发展奠定了坚实的基础。

中国的国庆节具有深刻的历史和政治意义, 国庆节是中国庆祝国家诞生的日子, 也是民族团结的象征。中国是一个多民族国家，国庆节庆祝活动中通常会展示各个民族的文化元素，以弘扬民族团结和多元文化。同时, 这场早集会也是进行爱国主义教育的时机。通过纪念国庆节，学生们有机会了解我们国家的历史、文化和成就，激发爱国情感，提高国民的国家认同感。

This assembly was hosted by our IG2 students, Yex Diao and Danish RAVINDRAN. The assembly commenced with the entire student body singing the national anthem of the People's Republic of China. However, the significance of this assembly goes beyond providing students with a platform for self-expression. The theme selected by IG2, "National Day," not only inspires them to explore the essence of China's National Day and the diverse ways in which different countries celebrate their own national days but also broadens their horizons and deepens their understanding of China's National Day and various cultures. This, in turn, lays a solid foundation for their future development.

This assembly enables students to appreciate that China's National Day carries deep historical and political significance, marking the celebration of the nation's birth and signifying the official establishment of the People's Republic of China. Furthermore, National Day symbolizes national unity in China, a multi-ethnic nation. Celebrations often incorporate cultural elements from various ethnic groups, emphasizing the promotion of unity in diversity. This assembly also serves as an occasion for instilling patriotic values. Commemorating National Day provides individuals with the opportunity to gain insights into the country's history, culture, and accomplishments, stirring patriotic sentiments and strengthening national identity among citizens.

Yau yau Qin（演奏葫芦丝）和Christine Li（演奏古筝）呈献开场表演，他们演奏了一段悦耳的中国传统音乐串烧。这个表演不仅是一场令人陶醉的听觉盛宴，更是对中国文化的深刻庆祝。他们演奏的美妙旋律和娴熟的演奏让观众仿佛置身于中国丰富的文化遗产之中。通过他们的演出，他们展示了中国音乐的美丽和深刻，强调了传承和分享代代相传的文化珍宝的重要性。学生们对推广中国文化的奉献精神表现得淋漓尽致，他们的表演为整个早集会增添了一层活力。

The first performance featured a captivating medley of traditional Chinese music performed by two talented IG2 students, Yau yau Qin on the "hulusi" (a Chinese wind instrument) and Christine Li on the "guzheng" (a Chinese zither). Their melodic presentation was not only a delightful auditory experience but also a profound celebration of Chinese culture. The mesmerizing tunes and skillful playing of these traditional instruments transported the audience to the heart of China's rich cultural heritage. Through their performance, they showcased the beauty and depth of Chinese music, emphasizing the significance of preserving and sharing the cultural treasures that have been passed down through generations. The students' dedication to promoting Chinese culture was truly evident, and their performance added a vibrant layer to the assembly.

“国庆”作为主题具有深远的意义。它不但让学生们更热爱自己的祖国, 同时也让学生体验了其他国家都有独特的庆祝方式，两者背后都有丰富的历史和文化传统。此外，它也强调了尊重和包容的价值观，鼓励学生欣赏和尊重不同国家的庆祝方式。由Lina Xu、Iven Zhang 、Yex Diao、Annie Ru负责拍摄, Yex Diao同学负责剪辑为我们分享了外籍学生对于他们国家的国庆采访。

The theme of "National Day" holds profound significance. It not only instills a greater love for our own country among students but also provides an opportunity for them to experience the unique celebration methods of other nations, each with its rich historical and cultural traditions. Furthermore, it emphasizes values of respect and inclusivity, encouraging students to appreciate and respect the diverse celebration styles of different countries. To shed light on this theme, students Lina Xu, Iven Zhang, Yex Diao, and Annie Ru interviewed international students about their National Day experiences.

紧接着, 由Lenora Jiang同学献上歌曲《自己按门铃自己听》, Lenora的演绎音准出色，既有美妙的低音和中音，又有激情澎湃的高音, 展现了她出色的音乐才华。Lenora的表演令人印象深刻，她的声音让在场师生陶醉其中，不仅传达了音乐的深刻理解，还勾勒出情感丰富的音乐画面。这个表演突出了音乐的普遍语言，跨越了文化和语言的障碍，将观众带入了音乐的美妙世界。Lenora的演出鼓舞了我们的情感，展示了音乐作为一种国际性表达方式的独特力量。

Following this, Lenora Jiang presented the song "Ring the Doorbell and Listen to Yourself," showcasing her remarkable musical talent with soaring high notes and beautiful mid-range tones. Lenora's performance left a lasting impression, captivating both teachers and students in the audience. Her voice not only conveyed a profound understanding of music but also painted vivid emotional landscapes through her melodies. This performance highlighted the universal language of music, transcending cultural and linguistic barriers, and immersing the audience in the enchanting realm of music. Lenora's rendition stirred our emotions, exemplifying the unique power of music as an international means of expression. together through cultural exchange and mutual respect.

第三个精彩的节目是由Yau yau Qin、Boruto Li、Christine Li、Lina Xu、Kevin Zhou、Andy Siu、Jacinda Xue、Iven Zhang、Danish RAVINDRAN、Lenora Jiang同学主演、Annie Ru同学担任旁白、IG1 Max Hong、Shaun Zheng同学友情客串, Ivin Zhao同学负责幕后的灯光与声控, 他们带来了一场精彩的话剧表演，呈现了莎士比亚的不朽之作《罗密欧与朱丽叶》。在这个戏剧中，同学们以生动有趣的方式演绎了这个经典故事，融入了幽默元素，引得观众频频爆笑。这个表演不仅展示了同学们出色的表演技巧，还突出了莎士比亚作品的永恒魅力。

The third outstanding performance was a drama play of Shakespeare's timeless masterpiece, "Romeo and Juliet," featuring Yau Yau Qin, Boruto Li, Christine Li, Lina Xu, Kevin Zhou, Andy Siu, Jacinda Xue, Iven Zhang, Danish RAVINDRAN, Lenora Jiang as the main cast, with Annie Ru serving as the narrator. Additionally, Ivin Zhao is responsible for the behind-the-scenes lighting and sound control, IG1 Max Hong and Shaun Zheng made special appearances, collectively delivering a captivating and humorous theatrical presentation.

In this play, students brought to life the classic tale with vivid and amusing performances, incorporating elements of humor that had the audience bursting into laughter. This performance not only showcased the students' remarkable acting skills but also highlighted the timeless charm of Shakespearean works.

"Romeo and Juliet" is a timeless classic that delves into themes of love, tragedy, and human emotions. Its themes transcend history, culture, and leave a profound impact. This rendition presented these themes in a light-hearted and humorous manner, reminding us of the rich and enduring significance of Shakespeare's works. Through this performance, the audience experienced the emotions, experiences, and challenges that Shakespearean works reflect in human life. The play touches upon themes such as love, pain, ambition, betrayal, and family relationships, encompassing many universal aspects of human life. These themes resonate with audiences by reflecting common human experiences, irrespective of the time and place, and encourage contemplation.

最后，我们迎来了一场震撼的乐队表演。由Ivin Zhao同学主唱，Boruto Li同学在电吉他上独挑大梁，而Iven Zhang同学的架子鼓, 有力鼓点为音乐表演注入了充沛的活力, 3位同学合作表演了一曲「天后」，将整场早集会推向了高潮。他们的表演将音乐和激情融为一体，带来了一种震撼的感官体验。观众们沉浸在音乐的海洋中，与表演者一同享受这个令人陶醉的瞬间，不禁跟随着音乐的节奏一起摇摆。

Finally, we were treated to a sensational band performance. Led by Ivin Zhao on vocals, with Boruto Li taking the lead on the electric guitar, and Iven Zhang commanding the drums, the band's powerful drumbeats injected an abundance of energy into the musical performance. The trio collaborated on a rendition of "天后" ("Goddess"), pushing the entire morning assembly to its climax. Their performance seamlessly blended music and passion, delivering a truly awe-inspiring sensory experience. The audience was immersed in the ocean of music, relishing the intoxicating moment, swaying to the rhythm along with the musicians.

IG2 的早集会是一场音乐、戏剧的盛宴，也是一次文化之旅。IG2的学生们的精彩表演展现了他们的才华和创造力，特别鸣谢Ivin Zhao同学负责了整场早集会的幕后的灯光与声控。早集会让我们更好地理解了音乐、戏剧与文化的重要性。通过这次早集会，激励我们更深入地探索不同文化、了解不同国家的庆祝方式, 我们希望能够通过视频、音乐、戏剧表演、舞蹈等方式, 让我们的学生尊重不同的文化，促进国际间的理解，共同创造更美好的未来。同时我们也期待IG1的同学为AICer即将带来的精彩演出。

The IG2 Assembly was a grand celebration of music and drama, as well as a fascinating cultural journey. The outstanding performances by the IG2 students showcased their talents and creativity. Special thanks to Ivin Zhao for overseeing the lighting and sound control behind the entire morning assembly.Through this Assembly, it inspires us to delve deeper into exploring different cultures and understanding the diverse ways in which nations celebrate. We hope that through various mediums such as videos, music, theatrical performances, dance, and more, our students will continue to foster respect for different cultures, promote international understanding, and collectively work towards creating a brighter future. Additionally, we look forward to the upcoming brilliant performances by the IG1 students for all AICers to enjoy.
