First "Principal's Cup" Class Basketball Tournament
In order to enrich the campus cultural life of students, cultivate students' awareness of physical exercise and the ability of unity and cooperation, enhance the team spirit and class cohesion, and create a healthy campus sports atmosphere, ASJ carried out a one-week "Principal's Cup" Class Basketball Match from January 2nd to January 11th.
This tournament to class as a unit, to the whole 5v5 form of playing points game, and in the halftime stage, the addition of free throw scoring game, each class needs to send three female players for free throws, each person free throws 5 balls, each into a ball where the class plus one point, a total of 15 points. So that more students can participate in the class basketball game, show class cohesion and team spirit.
This basketball match attracted the active participation of many classes. On the court, the players of each class sweated on the court, with high fighting spirit and full of energy, no matter it was offense or defense, the players went all out. Under the court, the students of each class also did their best to cheer for their class and shouted for support.
The teams encouraged and helped each other on the field, which not only showed the sportsmanship of unity and cooperation, but also the youthful style of ASJ students who are positive, harmonious and mutual help. After a fierce competition, G11-A class won the championship, G11-G class won the second place, G11-Z class won the third place, and Sin Lingtao won the MVP of the tournament.
Moments of Excitement: There were many exciting moments in the game, such as kills, caps, rebounds and so on. These wonderful shots became the talk of the students after dinner and eternal memories.
Strength vs Strength: The teams of each class were equally strong and the match was extremely intense. The players had high fighting spirit and showed their excellent skills and tenacious will.
Girls' participation: In order to ease the tension and let more students have a sense of participation, a session of girls' free throws at the center court was arranged. This allows students of both genders to participate and do their part for their class.
In the first Match of the High School, students showed excellent basketball skills and teamwork spirit, and strengthened the cohesion and friendship among classes, which are the most valuable assets in campus life. It is hoped that students will uphold the sportsmanship of unity and hard work, enhance their physical fitness, enjoy the joy of sports, and continue to surpass themselves and move forward in their studies.

Although the first "Principal's Cup" Class Basketball Tournament is over, I saw the unity, hard work and friendship of the students, which are the most valuable assets in our campus life, and the spirit of basketball will always remain in our hearts. I believe that in the new season, more students will join the ranks of basketball. Let's cheer for basketball and applaud for youth.
Finally, I would like to thank all the students, teachers and staff who participated in this tournament, as well as Mr. David, Head of Student Development Center, and Mr. Jason, Head of Secondary School, who strongly supported our organization, for making this tournament an unforgettable memory. Every opponent in this class match was very strong, in the match with class G11-S we were down to 8 points at one time, and in the final we were down by 6 points at the most, so it can be seen that the road to win the championship is not simple, but it is this kind of match that makes many players have gained, and it also makes every player have their own highlights on this court. The most impressive thing that happened to me in this class tournament didn't happen on the court, but the night before the final, my teammate, Taehee Oh, said to me, "This tournament is really hard on you, the pressure is on you, and I'd love to help share it, but I'm really not very good at playing." What I said to him at the time, I would also like to say to each and every one of the participating players, the girls who shot the ball from the center court, "You're actually playing really well, and being willing to step up is already pretty strong." I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Deng Jia Wang for going through Coach Deng's coaching so that I could have the courage to step up at every critical moment. I would also like to say to my teammates, "Maybe I'm not a very good leader or a very strong player, but I'm very happy to play with you guys, and we created a very good and precious memory together."
