ASJ is committed to providing guidance, resources, and hands-on experience for children's future planning.
On 4 March 2024, Yip Hing Wah, Co-Founder and CEO of Workspace, came to ASJ to meet with high school students, share his entrepreneurial experience and broaden their entrepreneurial mindset!
The keynote speaker, Yip Hing Wah, is the co-founder and CEO of Foshan Gonghe Space. As an incubator for innovation and entrepreneurship in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, Foshan Workspace has incubated a total of 130 companies, which has enabled many ordinary young people in Hong Kong like Yip Hing Wah to seize the opportunities of the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and he has thus become a "super contact person" in providing services for young entrepreneurs in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.
Yip Hing Wah shared that in 2015, he was invited by a friend to leave Hong Kong and go to Shenzhen to start his own business. What he didn't expect was that his work experience in Shenzhen would become his entrepreneurial resources, and at the end of 2015, as a representative of mainland investment resources, Yip was invited to attend the First Hong Kong International Festival of Creativity in Hong Kong to provide innovation and entrepreneurship services to Hong Kong youth. "The venture capital resources I accumulated in Shenzhen turned out to be able to help many ordinary Hong Kong youths like me."
In 2017, Yip Hing Wah founded "Gonghe Space" in Foshan, Guangdong Province, to share mainland resources with Hong Kong and help Hong Kong and Macao youths develop and start their businesses in the mainland. People like Ye Xinghua who build platforms are also known as "super contact persons" in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Yip Hing-wah hopes to combine the Kung Hop space model with industries in different cities in the Greater Bay Area, and even go to cities such as Tianjin and Shenyang to help entrepreneurs tap into the Greater Bay Area, and even the nation's market, by opening more spaces. "I want to tell my young friends in Hong Kong that grassroots can also seize the entrepreneurial opportunities in the Greater Bay Area." He said.
Yip Hing Wah mentioned that ASJ students have seized the HKDSE examination, a great opportunity for education integration in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. In the future, ASJ high school students will carry out their university life in the Mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas universities, and in the future, we hope that students can seize the opportunities for development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and fulfil their dreams.
