与众不同的假期,一天天的等待,睡眼惺忪的小A起床第一句话:妈妈,我要去上学。我喜欢上学。什么时候才能去上学?

Different holidays, day by day waiting, sleepy little girl gets up the first sentence: Mom, I want to go to school. I like going to school. When can I go to school?

 2.上学期的约定 


在上学期的探究主题《我们如何表达自己》中,孩子们喜欢上了蜘蛛侠这个人物,于是我们约定,新学期开学的时候会和大家分享蜘蛛侠。

可是漫长的假期迟迟没有结束,约定好的蜘蛛侠已经送到了

In last semester's UOI "How do we express ourselves", the children like the character of spider man. So the teacher and the children agreed to share spider man at the beginning of the new semester.But the long holiday is not over. The appointed spider man has arrived.

Early years is located in the beautiful Walton Foreign Language School campus, providing children-focused curriculum and high-quality early childhood education. The EY has a professional team of Chinese and foreign teachers to explore, introduce advanced IB PYP framework, integrate local curriculum and provide happy education for children. In January 2020, our EY has successfully passed the authorization of IBO in PYP program, becoming the only kindergarten with IB PYP qualification in Taicang. We create a variety of club activities for children to help them develop their own interests. We listen to the children's voice, respect the children's right of choice and finally realize the children's right of ownership so as to really mobilize the internal driving force of children's learning from inside to outside. That is to say, interest is the best teacher for children laying a good foundation for children's lifelong learning and development.

我是来自印度的Ishan,第一次来到中国,与新朋友们相处,听着陌生的中文,吃着陌生的中餐,总觉得不太习惯,但是在老师和朋友们的帮助下,我慢慢适应并乐在其中!对了,国际周的时候,朋友们还一起品尝了印度的食物呢!


I am Ishan from India. I come to China for the first time. I get along with new friends, listen to strange Chinese and eat strange Chinese food. I don’t always feel used to it, but with the help of teachers and friends, I slowly adapt and enjoy it! By the way, during international week, friends also tasted Indian food together!

Club

课后俱乐部专注于发展孩子的个性化兴趣、拓展孩子的视野,促进幼儿社会性发展。每一个幼儿是不一样的个体,华顿幼儿部为孩子们提供个性化、可选择的俱乐部活动。有少儿足球、乐高积木、创意美术、网球、围棋、语言拓展训练营等项目。

After class clubs focus on developing children's personalized interests, expanding children's horizons, and promoting children's social development. Each child is a unique individual. Walton EY  provides children with personalized and optional club activities. There are children's football, Lego building blocks, creative arts, tennis, chess, language development training camp and other projects.

PYP专业图书馆,提供了丰富、可选择的学习资源。根据PYP六大超学科探究主题分类,孩子们在这里可以挑选自己喜欢的图书,开展图书馆阅读日活动;还可以自己和图书管理员借阅,完成借阅流程,把自己心爱的图书带回家与家人分享,进行亲子阅读。这种双向互动式的借阅方式,实现了儿童的选择权,让孩子亲近图书,爱上阅读,培养孩子的阅读能力。


PYP library,provides rich and optional learning resources. According to the classification of the six transdisciplinary themes of PYP. Children can choose their favorite books here and carry out library reading day activities; they can also borrow books with librarians, complete the borrowing process, take their beloved books home to share with their families, and carry out parent-child reading. This two-way interactive way of borrowing realizes children's right of choice, makes children close to books, love reading, and cultivates children's reading ability.
