Great Success in the IVEY Global Business Competition!
Two teams from CISH has now successfully got through to the Final Competition in Beijing in July, of the IVEY Business School Competition. IVEY is part of Western University of Ontario and is ranked the number 1 Business school in Canada by the Financial Times (2022). In 2021, The Economist (Full-time MBA ranking) ranked IVEY’s MBA Program No. 1 in Canada.
This is more than a business competition as the finalists in the Senior team are offered an unconditional place to the University. The two teams are: Senior team of Benjamin Bae and Grant Huang (Grade 11) and Junior team (Grade 9) with Andy Heo, Mathias Schinke, Jace Kim and Jackson Shi.
Only 10% of all competition entrants manage to get to the final round. To achieve this, students had, in a very short time, to analyze two very complex academic case studies. The standard of these is typical of first and second-year work at University. Students studied the issues, created a presentation,and explained their decision- making from the perspective of the Chief Executive of the business. Our third team also won through but voluntarily dropped out to focus on the exams this last week.
This event aims to bring together business minded students from around the world and is sponsored by a number of leading educational organisations including our own AKD Group of schools of which CISH is a part.

祝贺合肥加拿大外籍人员子女学校在IVEY全球商赛中取得优异成绩！
我校两个参赛团队以优异的成绩成功晋级将在7月份举行的IVEY全球商赛的北京总决赛！IVEY商学院隶属于安大略西部大学的一部分，根据《金融时报》2022年的排名，是加拿大排名第一的商学院。2021年，《经济学人》在全日制MBA项目排名中将IVEY的MBA项目评为加拿大排名第一。
更需要强调的是这不仅仅是一场比赛，因为高年级组的入围者有可能获得大学的无条件就读的机会！我们两个团队是分别是由11年级的Benjamin Bae 和Grant Huang组成的高年级队以及由9年级的Andy Heo, Mathias Schinke, Jace Kim 和 Jackson Shi组成的青年队。
仅有10%的参赛者能晋级到决赛。为了取得好的成绩，学生们在非常短的时间内要对两个复杂的商学学术案例进行研究。这些案例的难度是大学一年级和二年级的难度。我们的学生们在短时间内研究问题，创建文稿，整理演讲思路并从企业首席执行官的角度解释了他们所做的分析和决策。我校还有一个团队也成功晋级了，但由于要集中精力应对本周的期末考试自愿退出了比赛。
这个比赛旨在把全球对商业感兴趣的学生聚集起来，互相交流，激发更深的理解。本比赛也得到了很多个领先的教育组织的赞助，包括我校所属的AKD集团。
