6月27日下午，香港东华三院校长国情教育培训班（以下简称国情教育培训班）到访我校，暨南大学港澳台侨事务办公室副主任王昱、广州暨大港澳子弟学校总校长郑景亮、执行校长封岩陪同参观，双方就湾区办学、国情教育等方面进行深入的交流和探讨。

On the afternoon of June 27th, the National Education Training Class organized by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals and Jinan University (hereinafter referred to as the National Education Training Class) visited ASJ. The delegation was accompanied by Wang Yu, Deputy Director of the Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Jinan University, Cheng King-leung, Chief Principal of ASJ, and Feng Yan, Executive Principal. They engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges on topics such as educational practices in the Greater Bay Area and national education.

国情教育培训班一行依次参观了学校图书馆、steam教室、学生宿舍等，高度认同学校的办学特色和教育理念，而在现场观摩我校八年级学生英语辩论赛后，对学校的教学成果表示肯定。

The delegation visited various areas of ASJ, including the library, STEAM classroom, and student dormitories. They highly appreciated the distinctive educational features and philosophies of ASJ. After witnessing an English debate competition among the 8th-grade students, they expressed recognition of ASJ's teaching achievements.

在座谈交流会上，郑景亮总校长首先代表学校向国情教育培训班表示热烈欢迎，随后围绕学校的办学理念、课程设置、办学优势和港澳特色等进行详细介绍。郑景亮总校长表示学校一直以培养家国情怀的学生为己任。通过《我的家在中国》作为教学辅助读本，将“民族、城市、山河、湖海、道路”等六大教学板块融入到IB的六个超学科实际教学中，使学生在国家、民族以及中华文化教育方面拥有更加生动、有趣和丰富的体验。

During the symposium, Mr. Cheng extended a warm welcome to the delegation of the National Education Training Class on behalf of the school. He provided a detailed introduction to ASJ's educational principles, curriculum offerings, advantages, and the characteristics of Hong Kong and Macao. Mr. Cheng emphasized that cultivating students with a sense of patriotism has always been a teaching mission of ASJ. Through the integration of the six teaching modules of "Chinese cities, festivals, lakes and seas, ethnic groups, mountains and rivers, and roads" into the practical teaching of the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, using "My Home is in China" as an auxiliary textbook, students can experience a more vivid, interesting, and enriching education in national identity, ethnicity, and Chinese culture.

此外，学校还通过常规的升旗仪式、中华经史子集系列讲座、中国传统节日汇演等多种形式的教育活动，培养学生逐步树立家国情怀和中华文化归属感。郑校长还特地播放了今年紫荆花节我校与香港拔萃女书院举行的两文三语演讲比赛录影片段，形象地展现了学校将国情教育与日常教学活动相结合的方式。

Additionally, the school organizes various educational activities such as flag-raising ceremonies, lectures on Chinese history and classics, and performances during traditional Chinese festivals to gradually instill a sense of patriotism and belonging to Chinese culture in students. Mr. Cheng also presented a video clip of this year's Bauhinia Festival, which featured a speech competition between ASJ and Diocesan Girls' School in Hong Kong, showcasing the integration of national education with daily teaching activities at ASJ.

据悉，此次国情培训班经由广东省教育厅港澳台事务办公室推荐，香港东华三院与暨南大学合作开设，旨在加强校长和教师的国民教育培训。培训班于6月26日举行开班仪式，将连续进行6天5夜，共有30位来自东华三院旗下中学、小学、幼稚园和特殊学校的校长和副校长莅临参与。

According to reports, the National Education Training Class, recommended by the Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Affairs Office of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education, is jointly organized by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals and Jinan University. Its aim is to strengthen national education training for school principals and teachers. The training class commenced with an opening ceremony on June 26th and will last for 6 days and 5 nights. It has the participation of 30 principals and vice principals from middle schools, primary schools, kindergartens, and special schools affiliated with the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals.
