Mr. Harris joins Harrow from Cothill House, which is one of the best UK Prep Schools and over 300 pupils from this top school finally continue their studies at Eton College. He loves literature and arts, particularly illustration, drama, and creative writing. During his time at Lord Williams's School and The British School Muscat, he incorporated these interests into extra-curricular song writing sessions, rock band clubs and poetry workshops. All of which successfully contributed to the arts and culture of the schools and their communities.

B.A. in English Literature and Education - University of Surrey, UK.

Mrs. Wan has taught A-level literature and IGCSE English at international schools such as Muscat British School and Dulwich College Beijing, and led extracurricular project.

She possesses high levels of motivation and a passion for literature and English language. Being able to engage students from a range of backgrounds and cultures in their learning to attain their personal best, she has worked well with higher-ability students and supported those whose English is not their first language. It is important to her that every individual is able to achieve.

Ms. Liu worked as a supervisor for college students and tutored them in their graduation thesis. In addition, she also was a class teacher at a well-known international school. Her classroom is always full of interest or excitement, and by creating a happy English learning environment for  students, she enables them to practice their ability to express themselves confidently in English and to learn happily.

Mr. Swider has 12 years of teaching experience and 10 years in middle and senior leadership. Mr. Swider is also a professional bass trombonist and electric bassist with a passion for romantic-era music. He is looking forward to leading our young musicians in collaborative music-making experiences.

B.Sc. (Hons) Plant Science - University of Manchester, UK.

Mr. Wan was Head of Science at Harrow Beijing. He also was a teacher of Science and Biology at KS3, IGCSE and A Level. He is passionate about the learning and development of students.

Extracurricular contributions include Leadership of the STEM club and debating club and as a tutor for aspiring medical applicants in entering research and writing competitions. As part of the sixth-form pastoral team, he is proficient in helping students in UCAS application preparation. He is experienced in leading large teams and is able to not only fuel the professional development of the entire team, but also helps our students achieve excellence.

M.Sc in Meteorology (Applied Physics & Mathematics) - University of Nairobi, Kenya.

Mr. Mwangi is skilled in IGCSE and A-level Physics teaching, he has over 20 years of teaching experience and participates actively in undertaking refresher courses to upgrade his teaching skills, to provides high quality services that equip learners with the necessary knowledge and skills required to compete favorably in the international field of innovations.

Ms. Hove has over 20 years teaching experiences, she believes that a career as a teacher can inspire the next generation and do something that young people can be proud of.

She loves travelling, and wants to see as much of the whole world as she can. She is a dedicated and experienced teacher in secondary chemistry with 20 years of teaching experience. She is looking forward to sharing exciting science with you all.

With 15 years of teaching experience, Mr. Koç has always been a teacher with a passion for teaching. He wants to work with teachers from many cultural backgrounds to reach a very broad goal of developing students with intercultural and interdisciplinary competencies. In the context of global diversity, He is convinced that our learning cannot be concentrated in one place, but that we need to guide our students across disciplines and integrate knowledge and society, and that we teachers should accordingly enhance our expertise and explore as much as possible the culture and the subjects we teach.

Mr. Zhao has over 6 years of Chinese teaching experience at primary and intermediate schools in Turkey, USA, New Zealand, and China. He loves sports, and he is good at playing table tennis and tennis. He is very happy to be teaching Chinese at Harrow Haikou Upper School and hopes that our students will learn Chinese well and embrace the world with more confidence in the future!
