ASJ骑士之九月特辑

In the first month back at school, the ASJ Knights quickly picked up the pace of training and competition, and had lots of fun playing games.

重返校园的第一个月，东莞ASJ骑士队迅速找回了往日训练与比赛的节奏，并在接连不断的赛事中体验到了运动带来的愉悦。

At the beginning of this month, the Secondary students had a fun volleyball match with their teachers, which brought in more new members to the school's volleyball team, and also gave everyone a chance to have fun and get to know each other.

本月初，中学部进行了一场趣味横生的师生排球交流赛，在吸纳更多新成员加入学校排球队之余，大家也收获了快乐、增进了对彼此的了解。

Soon after the new team was formed, the school organised a series of volleyball matches against other international schools, providing them with valuable opportunities to meet and interact with other schools. These matches have been very inspiring experiences for our students and have allowed the new team to develop teamwork and sportsmanship as we can see their progress and growth from game to game.

新团队建立后，很快学校就组织了多场与国际学校进行比拼的排球赛事，为他们提供了与其他学校接触交流的宝贵机会。这些校际比赛对于我们的学生来说是极具启发性的经历，这些经历让这支新的队伍逐渐培养起团队精神和体育精神，我们能从一次次比赛中中观察到他们的进步和成长。

The ASJ High School basketball team was honoured to be invited to participate in the 2023 Greater Bay Area Youth Basketball Festival, where they were able to compete with 18 outstanding teams from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao and engage in cultural exchanges. Faced with experienced opponents, they did not slacken off and always showed unwavering determination and a never-give-up attitude. After the tournament, they gained valuable practical experience and a deeper understanding of the competitive level of other schools, and more importantly, they enjoyed the games and made lots of new friends!

东莞ASJ高中篮球队有幸受邀参加2023粤港澳大湾区青年篮球文化节，与18支来自广东、香港和澳门的优秀球队切磋球技并进行文化交流。面对经验丰富的对手，他们没有丝毫懈怠，始终表现出坚定不移的决心和永不放弃的态度，经过此次比赛，他们获得了宝贵的实战经验，也对其他学校的竞技水平有了更深的了解，更重要的是，他们享受了比赛过程并且结识了许多新的朋友！

Our football team played friendly matches against two international schools, QSID and ISD, and won the match against ISD with a score of 3-0, their hard training had paid off and everyone had happy smiles on their faces. These games not only showcased the athleticism of our students, but also emphasised the importance of competition and teamwork as the students learnt to adapt to pressure, enjoy the game and develop confidence. At the same time, they have learnt to find out their weaknesses and shortcomings from the post-match summaries, so that they can keep practising until they achieve success.

本月，我们的足球队与QSID和ISD两所学校进行了友好的比赛，在与ISD的比赛中以3:0的比分战胜了对手，他们艰苦的训练得到了回报，每个人脸上都挂上了开心的笑容。这些比赛不仅展示了我们学生的运动能力，更强调了竞争和团队合作的重要性，学生们学会适应压力、享受比赛以及培养自信。同时，他们也学会了从赛后的总结中发现自己的弱点与不足，从而不断练习，直至走向成功。
