在AISL哈罗横琴，

院舍制（House System）是校园文化的核心

每学年大大小小的院舍活动精彩不断

然而其中最重要、最盛大的活动之一

莫过于一年一度的

“哈罗之声，多元之美”

在这个主题之下，每个院舍选取的合唱歌曲都需体现拥抱文化多样性、携手互助共进的精神，每个院舍担任院舍长（House Master/Mistress）的老师们组织不同年级的学生进行排练。获胜院舍不仅可以获得大额院舍积分，还将捧回金光闪闪的奖杯！

创新呈现、团队合作、舞美设计、主题升华...

都是影响最终得分的重要因素

因此各个院舍也是“各显神通”

让我们既听见了“哈罗之声”，

也看见了“多元之美”

安德森院舍演唱的歌曲是《一起向未来》，这首优美的中国歌曲是为了颂扬团结、和谐的精神以及冬奥会的全球愿景而创作的，体现了团结和集体的力量，奥林匹克运动的核心价值观和愿景，以及追求世界统一、和平与进步的目标。

冰心院舍与大家分享的是传奇音乐家鲍勃·马利的歌曲“One Love”，歌曲旋律欢快优雅，背后的故事更是影响深远。1978年，马利的故乡牙买加曾经是一个充满暴力和犯罪的国家，他十分痛心，于是回国在一场名为“一份爱，一份和平”的音乐会上演唱了这首歌，并将牙买加总理曼利和他最大的政敌西加的手握在一起，高高举过头顶。这一象征宽容和解的动作永远载入了牙买加的史册。

丘吉尔院舍从广为人知的歌曲“Proud of You”中汲取灵感，对音乐进行了改编，巧妙地融入了英文、中文和粤语三种语言。尽管大多数Churchill的学生可能不会说粤语，但他们经过不懈的努力和练习，已经做好了准备，将这首曲目呈现给各位观众。

Lyon院舍与大家分享了一首由音乐家K’naan演唱的励志歌曲《Wavin’ Flag》，这是一首在被选为2010年国际足联世界杯官方歌曲后备受认可和欢迎的歌曲。创作者K’naan在这首歌里以强调作为一个社区、国家和全球社会团结在一起的重要性，而旗帜象征着人们可以克服逆境和压迫，追求更美好的生活的理念。

这首经典儿歌拥有包括中文、粤文、英文、韩文、日文、西班牙文等超过9种语言的版本，每个地方都有不同的译名。这是一首对文化多样性的赞歌，表达了尽管国家、文化有所不同，但都同属于一个全球大家庭的理念。  

A Million Dreams是电影《马戏之王》的一首插曲，这也是一首曾带给很多人前行勇气的经典歌曲，充满力量的旋律，大气磅礴的鼓点，振奋人心的歌词，把对梦想的追求和渴望释放得淋漓尽致。

温情小彩蛋

今年各个院舍还有一个了不起的突破：真正把合唱变成了一个传达心声的舞台。好几个院舍以所演唱的歌曲为题制作视频，邀请家长和老师们一起参与，表达对孩子们的温暖爱意和深切期望。于是我们的院舍合唱比赛，不仅有立意高远的呼吁，也传递了近在眼前的点滴温情。

At AISL Harrow Hengqin,

the House System is central to our

 school’s culture and ethos.

 Every school year there are

many wonderful and different activities,

but one of the most important and grand activities 

is the annual House Song Competition

Under this theme, the songs selected by each House should reflect the spirit of embracing cultural diversity and working together to help each other. House Masters /Mistress organized rehearsals for students of different grades. The winning House will not only receive a huge amount of house points, but will also take home a glittering trophy!

The House Song

has long been more than just singing.

Creative presentation, teamwork, choreography

and theme sublimation are all important factors

 that affect the final score.

Therefore, all the Houses were able to 

show off their abilities,

allowing us to hear The Melody of Harrow

 and see the Beauty of Multicultures

Anderson chose the song “Together for a Shared Future”.  This beautiful Chinese composition was crafted to celebrate the spirit of unity, harmony, and the global vision of the Winter Olympics. It embodies the power of unity and collectivity, the core values and vision of the Olympic and the pursuit of world unity, peace and progress.

Bing Xin shared the song "One Love" by the legendary musician Bob Marley, which has an upbeat and elegant melody and a far-reaching story behind it. 1978, Marley's hometown of Jamaica was once a country full of violence and crime, and he was so distressed that he returned to Jamaica to perform the song at a concert called "One Love, One Peace" and held the hands of Jamaican Prime Minister Manley and the opposition leader Seaga together above his head. This gesture, a symbol of forgiveness and reconciliation, will forever be remembered in Jamaican history.

Churchill took inspiration from the renowned song “Proud of You”, created their own version with English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. What makes this performance even more remarkable is that, while most of Churchill students may not speak Cantonese, they’ve dedicated time and effort to learn it together.

Lyon was pleased to share with you an inspirational song by musician K'naan titled “Wavin' Flag”, a highly recognised and popular song after being chosen as the official song of the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Creator K'naan uses the song to emphasise the importance of coming together as a community, nation and global society, while the flag symbolises the idea that people can overcome adversity and oppression in pursuit of a better life.

This classic children's song is available in over 9 languages including Mandarin, Cantonese, English, Korean, Japanese and Spanish, with different translations for each location. It's a celebration of cultural diversity and the understanding that, despite our differences, we are all part of the same global family.

“A Million Dreams” is an interlude from the film The King of the Circus, a classic song that has brought courage to many to move forward, with powerful melodies, atmospheric drums, and uplifting lyrics that unleash the pursuit of dreams and aspirations to the fullest.

A Warm Surprise

Another remarkable breakthrough was made by the Houses this year:they really turned the House Song into a stage to share their heartfelt wishes. Several Houses produced videos on the theme of the songs they sang, inviting parents and teachers to join in and express their warm love and deepest expectations for the children. In this way, our House Song was not only a high-minded appeal, but also conveyed a sense of warmth.

The House Song is

the first grand House activity of

Harrow Hengqin in every school year.

We look forward to seeing more and more activities

being organised in the Houses,

so that each of the Houses can really

come together to form a "family" of

fellowship and advancement, and that

cross-age cooperation can spark off 

leadership attributes!
