随着新一届12年级的同学们进入申请季，大家开始更加地关注大学新闻。其中，最近最引人注目的大学新闻之一就非US News 美国大学排名更新莫属了。TRC作为一个深切关心同学们学习生活以及时事新闻的社团，决定制作一期讨论US News大学排名变化的节目。

As the new G12 students enter the application season, we’re beginning to pay more attention to news about universities. Among them, one of the most eye-catching university news recently is the latest update of the US News university rankings. As a club that cares deeply about the Tsinglan student body and current news, TRC decided to produce an episode discussing the most recent changes in US News university rankings.

许多未来希望去到美国读大学的同学们可能会很关心US News的排名。而这次排名的巨大变化也让许多正在择校的同学们感到不知所措。到底是应该相信最新的排名，改变自己的择校列表？还是忽视排名，从其它方面评估一所大学与自己的适配度呢？让我们来听听清澜高中部的同学们与升学指导老师们的看法吧！

Many students who hope to study in the United States in the future may be particularly concerned about the US News ranking. The huge changes in the rankings have also made many students who are choosing schools to apply to feel perplexed. Should we trust the latest rankings and change our school list? Or should we ignore the rankings and evaluate a university from other aspects? Let’s hear the opinions of some high school students and school college counsellors!

“I think for the US News ranking, it may help you to some extent to build your long list of universities, but you have to look into the university itself to look for things that meet your needs for your dream type of undergraduate education.” -Mr Hou

“我认为选择大学应该主要看你对什么特别感兴趣。如果你愿意的话，你可以关注一下排名。排名指出了著名的、别人所认为是好的大学。这起到了一定的作用。——Mr Hammond

“I think university choice should be mainly about what you in particular are interested in. But, keep an eye on the rankings if you want. They indicate which ones are famous, and which ones other people think are good. That plays a role.” -Mr Hammond
