Bachelor degree or above, international teachers from native English speaking countries (UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Canada).

The International Homeroom Teacher shall have at least three years of teaching experience at home and abroad, care and respect for children, and love of education.

The International Homeroom Teacher shall have the qualification of foreigners' work permit in China, including the certification of the highest personal education certificate, TEFL/TESOL teaching qualification certificate, proof of no criminal record and certified documents, medical examination certificate (medical examination certificate issued by overseas health care institutions recognised by China's inspection and quarantine institutions, the time of issuance should be within 6 months). 

The International Homeroom Teacher needs to agree with BeeMee's educational philosophy and values, child-centred, customised and personalised learning programmes and guidance for children, with the ability and motivation to go beyond the core academic curriculum to develop children's passions and interests.

I originally come from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne in the UK, however I have lived in Hunan province since 2013. I graduated from the University of Sunderland in 2011 receiving a BMus (hons) degree in Jazz, Popular, and Commercial Music. Additionally, I’ve completed a 120-hour TESOL teaching certificate in 2013.

I have almost ten years of teaching experience and have taught students ranging from kindergarten age all the way up to university students. My main reason for joining BeeMee is that as a father, I wish to be a part of developing a school in which I would feel happy to send my own child. I am originally from Nottingham in the UK and graduated at the University of Derby in 2011. Over the past 12 years I have taught and managed at several international primary schools and kindergartens and gained rich experiences from several cities in China.

I’m a life-long learner who coached table tennis for over 17 years, trained adults in the public sector for 10 years, and tutored English privately for many years in my home country to all age groups. I taught High School English to 13–18-year-old students at two New Zealand public high schools. During that time, I coached table tennis and soccer and ran the debating club. I had a variety of roles within the Chinese education system, including Grade Level Leader for Grade Six, Homeroom Teacher, Homestay Manager, Assistant Principal, Deputy Principal, and Principal.

My journey to BeeMee started with 3 years of further education at Edge Hill University in the UK, a specific teaching college where I was trained by many experienced primary school and secondary school teachers. Over the 3 years I was given several months of class teaching time as a class teacher at various primary schools; and as a physics and chemistry teacher in middle schools and high schools around the UK. Finally, in 2014, I graduated as a qualified Primary and Secondary teacher in the UK.

I was born and raised in North Yorkshire, United Kingdom and studied English and Creative Writing at Liverpool John Moore’s University in my father’s home city of Liverpool. After graduation, I felt a powerful desire to explore the world, so I undertook a TESOL certification in foreign language teaching as well as a TEFL certificate in classroom management and lesson planning. I chose China due to my fascination with its history and culture and have lived here for the last nine years.

I am originally from Coventry in the U.K. In 1994 I gained a first class honors degree in English Studies at Manchester Metropolitan University. I have been teaching English as a second language in China and Thailand for almost twelve years. The majority of my teaching roles have been at primary level, but I have covered pretty much the whole spectrum of age groups in education, starting at kindergarten all the way through to post graduate and also adult business English. Throughout my teaching career I have constantly felt rewarded from witnessing all of my students’ blossom in their primary school years. As a teacher and mentor, there is no better satisfaction for me than being part of a child’s education, watching them grow with more knowledge and apply it in every class that they attend.

My philosophy in teaching is simply “never give up”. My everyday goals are to make challenged students good and to make good students great! I design my classes with differentiation, as well as create materials and worksheets with differentiation tasks so that the weaker students have enough scaffolding, while the stronger students have enough stretch. Critical thinking and being inquisitive is also something I deeply encourage in the classroom. This, coupled with being imaginative, allows each child to freely express themselves with confidence.

I am from the USA and I have more than 15 years teaching experience with students from primary age to adults. I earned a B.A. in English from the University of Colorado in 2002. I subsequently earned a Juris Doctor and an M.B.A. at St. Mary’s University in 2006. I earned a Cambridge CELTA teaching certification in 2008 and taught English at Xi Nan Cai Da in Chengdu.

I received my Master of Arts in International Education from New York University in 2012 and taught at the International Language Institute in New York. Afterwards, I also received my Texas teaching certificate and taught ESL and many other subjects at McNeil High School and JCFA High School. I subsequently earned my M.Ed. with an emphasis in Educational Technology. I returned to China in 2022, taught at a high school in Ningxiang before joining BeeMee in 2023.

I was born and grew up in Wellington, New Zealand. I have been living and teaching in China since 2015 and have previously taught at schools throughout northern China including Beijing, Qinhuangdao and as far north as Hulunbeier, Inner Mongolia. I studied Chinese at Massey University, New Zealand, where my interest in language learning eventually helped me find my passion for ESL education. I hold an Advanced TESOL diploma and have over 8 years of ESL education experience.

In my classroom I bring a play-based learning approach where I encourage students to explore the classroom for themselves and decide on what and how they play. Although I may accompany the children throughout play and sometimes suggest ideas for activities, the decisions ultimately lie with the children. I find that language ability develops rapidly through play as conversations occur naturally where children can narrate what they are doing and where the teacher can help encourage conversations by asking questions and introducing new words.

Trying new things will help slowly strip away any fears and give your children the confidence and desire to try new things out for themselves in future. The best moment for me at BeeMee must be hearing my entire class scream out and dance along to the ABC song with such confidence and passion.

I chose BeeMee for its second-to-none teaching facilities and beautiful environment for the children to fully express themselves and to hone their creative abilities from a young age. I was born in California, United States of America. I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts in English. I came to China in 2018 after receiving my teaching qualifications and have been living here ever since. I have taught children of all ages, from kindergarten all the way up to high school for more than five years.

I have enjoyed my time here at BeeMee and can describe my teaching here as fun, relaxing, and active. I believe that the learning environment for a child should be fun and relaxing, they should be able to come into the classroom without a worry and with a smile on their face, ready to laugh, learn and make friends. That is what it is like in my classroom; we sing, we dance, we remain active and love to go out in nature.

I was born in the North of England and graduated with a Master's in Chemistry from the University of Leeds, UK in 2013. I was lucky to have the opportunity to study a year abroad during my degree and chose to study in Madrid, Spain. This is where I realised I was very interested in other countries, cultures and languages, as well as teaching other people more about my own.

After graduating I lived in London for a couple of years, travelled in Russia, Europe and South America before finally coming to China in 2018. I first came to WuHan to study a semester of Chinese language and found I enjoyed it so much I came back in 2019, this time to Changsha and I have been here ever since. I met my wife in Changsha in 2020. She is from Yi Yang in the north of Hunan and we have a 1-year-old baby girl, Annie.

I’m originally from the vast green forests of the Pacific Northwest, Oregon, USA. I’ve been living in China for more than 8 years. Most of my time in China has been in Henan province but now have the pleasure of experiencing the beauty of Hunan.

I am from the picturesque province of New Brunswick, Canada. My commitment to providing top-notch education led me to undertake a 150-hour TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification from the esteemed University of Toronto. I was raised in London, United Kingdom, and graduated from the University of London with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management in 2001. I obtained my TESOL Diploma Program qualification in 2021.

I have over 5 years of teaching experience with Chinese, Japanese, and South Korean students, ranging in age from 2 to 6 years old. Additionally, I have provided private English tutoring both online and through one-on-one classes to individuals of all age groups in Beijing, China. Specifically, I taught K1, K2, and K3 at Star River Bilingual Kindergarten in XingHeWan Complex from 2012 to 2015. Subsequently, I continued my teaching career at the International Kindergarten of WangJing in Beijing from 2015 to 2017.

Graduating from Warwick University, in the UK, in 2006, at the age of 25, I decided that life was too short to be in the office all day, so I made the life-changing decision to teach English in China.

My first teaching position was at Jianghan University in Wuhan. There, I taught English speaking and writing, as well as cultural classes like UK culture and Greek Mythology. After 4 years in Wuhan, I moved to Shenzhen, where I taught IELTS to students wanting to study abroad.

正是在深圳，我遇到了我的妻子，她是湖南人，我们一起搬到了长沙。我曾在幼儿园和小学任教，专注于教授4-12岁的儿童。我起初是在彼一米的小学进行授课，后来来到了西湖校区，我的女儿也在这里学习和玩耍，她非常喜欢彼一米。

I met my wife in Shenzhen, who is from Hunan, and we moved to Changsha together. I have taught in kindergartens and primary schools, specialising in teaching children aged 4-12. I started out teaching at BeeMee's primary schools and then came to the Westlake campus. My daughter also learns and plays at BeeMee and she loves it.

I graduated with a B.A. in Early Childhood Education from Wilmington University, USA. I have been living here for almost 10 years because I love the Chinese culture. During this time, I've honed my skills in nurturing and fostering the development of young minds. Living in Changsha for a decade, I've gained valuable insights and developed cultural sensitivity.

I am from Atlanta, USA, and graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology, the top university in my state and one of the best in the country. In 2015, I received a scholarship to study abroad at Shanghai Jiaotong University where I fell in love with China.

I am from Mississippi, USA, and currently live in Changsha with my wife, 9-year-old daughter, and 4-month-old son. Born into a family of educators, I embarked on my academic journey at Mississippi State University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering Technology and Business.

In August 2022, I started at EYAS Learning Academy as the toddler class homeroom teacher, teaching ESL to students of various ages. In 2023, I joined BeeMee.

I'm from Montreal, Canada and I have two girls. I received my degree from Montreal's Concordia University. I started extensive training in 2004 on how to educate young children and kids under 15.

I left my banking job in 2012 after deciding to devote my career to teaching, first going to Kuwait to teach ESL and math. In 2019, I began working as a teacher at an international kindergarten in Yiwu, China. I worked as a kindergarten and elementary school teacher in Canada in the early epidemic years. Early in 2023, I was also teaching in Guangzhou.
