万圣节|多元文化看世界 ——徐州华顿国际学校国际小学部万圣节体验活动

万圣节

～万圣节前夜～

不同国家由于文化背景的差异，节日也大不相同，选择特别的节日开展活动，不仅能激发学生语言的学习兴趣，还能帮助学生通过语言的学习，了解异域文化，开拓学生的国际视野。

Because of the differences in culture background, festivals also vary among countries. Choosing special festivals to carry out activities can not only stimulate students' interest in language learning, but also help students understand foreign cultures through language learning and open up their international horizons.

每年的11月1日是西方的万圣节。万圣节又叫诸圣节，是西方的传统节日。

值万圣节之际，为了丰富孩子们的校园生活，提高英语学习兴趣，领略不同国家的文化体验，感受国际文化的交融，2020年10月30日，华顿国际小学部在全体外教老师的精心筹备下，开展了精彩纷呈的万圣节体验活动。

Halloween is on every year’s November 1 in the West, which is also known as the Saints' Day.

It is a traditional western festival. Before this year’s Halloween, in order to enrich children's campus life, improve their interest in English learning, experience the culture diversity of different countries, and feel the blending of international culture, with the careful preparation of all foreign teachers, Walton International Primary School hold a colorful Halloween event on October 30,2020.

～学习文化|习俗～

活动前的万圣节主题阅读课中，外教Steven和Jenny一边教授给孩子们关于外国文化习俗的知识，一边和孩子们一起制作节日装饰品，孩子们的语言和动手能力都得到了锻炼。

Steven and Jenny taught the children about customs of foreign cultures and made Halloween decorations with them. The children's language ability and hands-on ability were well trained.

～游戏环节～

在艺体馆举行的活动中，孩子们参与了很多游戏如：《Elephant March》、《Steal The Per-ent》、《Stack Attack》、《Separation Amxiety game》等游戏活动，体验到不同国家，不同地区，不同的文化特色。

The children participated in many games such as Elephant March, Card Ninja, Bobbing for Apples, Halloween Balloons, Face the Cookie Game, Stack Attack, Separation Amxiety held in the Arts and Sports Building and experienced different cultural characteristics of different countries and regions.

～Trick or Treat～

你瞧，孩子们用自己制作的讨糖工具，嘴里不停的说着“Trick or treat”,而遇到的老师和孩子们也毫不吝啬，把自己兜里的糖果等食品全部拿出来送给前来“捣蛋”的孩子们。

Look ! With their own candy tools, the children kept saying ," trick or treat", and the teachers and children who were asked for candies were not stingy at all, they took out all the candies and other food in their pockets for the children who came to “trick”.

夏跃杰校长也惊喜的出现在活动中，孩子们纷纷围住夏校长讨糖，夏校长慈爱的给每一个前来“捣蛋”的孩子发了糖果。

Jacky, the headmaster also appeared in the activities surprisingly, the children surrounded him to ask for candies, Jacky lovingly “treated” each child with a smile. The children felt so happy after they got the presents from him.

除此之外，活动中孩子们还品尝到了外教老师们精心制作的甜点。

In addition, the children also tasted the dessert carefully made by the foreign teachers.

～分享甜蜜～

快乐的时光总是短暂的，满载着讨来的糖果，分享着甜蜜和幸福。这次活动让孩子们体验到了中西方国家文化习俗上的差异，拓展了孩子的世界观，也锻炼了孩子的胆量。希望国际小学部的孩子们在成长路上充满快乐、健康和阳光。

How happy time flies! All children were full of candies, sharing sweetness and happiness. This event gave the students an unforgetable experience of different customs between China and the West, at the same time expanded their world outlook, and exercised their courage. We hope that the children of the International Primary School are always full of happiness, health and sunshine on their way to growing up.
