融通高中部第三届DSE“英语风采大赛”

為活躍校園英語學習氛圍，激發同學們學英語、說英語的熱情，同時也為融通高中的同學們提供展現風采的舞臺。12月13日下午，DSE項目處主辦的第三屆英語演講比賽在銀灘歌劇院隆重舉辦，來自DSE項目的11位選手參加了此次比賽。

The International High School Division organized the 3rd DSE English Talent Competition on December 13th at the Opera House of Guangdong Country Garden School·Huizhou to make learning English more enjoyable for students. Eleven contestants from the DSE Programme participated in the event.

比賽伴隨著精彩的開場歌曲正式拉開帷幕，比賽分為主題演講和才藝展示兩個環節，先進行主題演講，演講結束後，開始3-5分鐘的才藝展示。本次邀請到的嘉賓有：張四海副校長，蘆靜溪主任、張忠良主任、張法林主任、樊紅軍主任；外教老師擔任評委工作，分別為：Evan、Sam、Andrew、Alex、Bryan。

The event began with an energetic song performance, followed by speeches given by students on various topics. After that, the students showcased their talents for 3-5 minutes each. The leaders of international high school such as vice principal and directors were present at the event. The panel of judges for this role includes foreign teachers Evan, Sam, Andrew, Alex, and Bryan.

同學們準備的暖場節目也是精彩絕倫。

The classmates' prepared warm-up act was also incredibly outstanding.

參賽選手們都個個精神飽滿，以流暢的英語表述了自己的觀點，贏得了觀眾的陣陣掌聲。經過激烈角逐，最終來自DSE7-1班樊悅兒，DSE8-1陳逸琳，DSE9-1陳健航同學，以標準的發音，抑揚頓挫的語調，流利的口語以及精彩的表演從比賽中脫穎而出，榮獲此次比賽的一等獎。

All the contestants were spirited and confidently articulated their viewpoints in fluent English, earning enthusiastic applause from the audience. After intense competition, Fanny from DSE7-1, Nicole from DSE8-1, and David from DSE9-1 emerged as the winners. Their impeccable pronunciation, varied intonation, fluent speech, and brilliant performances set them apart, earning them first prize in this competition.

最後，這場視覺與聽覺相結合的盛宴在一首動聽的英文歌曲中落下了帷幕。本次比賽進一步加強了當下校園文化的建設，引導各年級學生強化英語學習的意識，培養國際眼光，提高獨立思考和語言表達等能力。

In the end, this fusion of visual and auditory delight concluded with a melodious English song. This competition further bolstered the development of the current campus culture, guiding students of all grades to fortify their awareness of English learning while fostering a global perspective. It also enhanced their abilities in independent thinking and language expression.
