时光如白驹过隙，又是一年毕业季。

2023年6月9日，上海莱克顿学校举办了5 周年年度晚宴暨毕业典礼。一切的奔波与努力终于不负期望，落地生根。

Class of 2023的毕业生们，带着些许紧张，满怀期望踏上全新征程，在迈步离开莱克顿校园的同时，也留下了属于自己的印迹。

他们，是幸运的，在万众瞩目与期盼之中走向新的远方。

他们，也是特殊的，恰逢上海莱克顿学校 5 周年年度晚宴，毕业典礼与年度晚宴双典同庆，为莱克顿人留下了一份铭记于心的毕业回忆。

Time flies in the twinkling of an eye, we met another graduation season. 

In June 9, 2023, Lucton Shanghai held the Anniversary Gala Dinner & Graduation Ceremony. All the efforts finally lived up to their expectations.

The Class of 2023 graduates, with a little tension but full of expectations, stepping out of the campus and embarked on a new journey. 

They are lucky, for the attention and expectations of everybody.

They are also special, coincided with the 5th annual gala dinner and the graduation ceremony were celebrated together, leaving a graduation memory that all will remember in their hearts.

是日，操场上的签到板写满了一个又一个耀眼的姓名，毕业绶带与证书叠放整齐，一团团繁花锦簇，莱克顿小熊齐齐落座，静静地等候着即将毕业的学子们的到来。

On that day, the signboard on the playground was filled with one sparking name after another, graduation ribbons and certificates were stacked neatly, and there were clusters of flowers, and Lucton bears sat together, quietly waiting for the arrival of the graduating students.

最后一次换上熨烫整齐的莱克顿校服，前来参加毕业典礼的学子们，意气风发地踏入校园，家长和莱克顿朋友们纷至现场，为了这个特殊的日子而齐聚一堂。

学生们再一次认真倾听老师的忠言与建议，交谈着关于过去的点滴与未来的方向。

For the last time, they put on the neat school uniforms, the students stepped into the campus in high spirits, and parents and Lucton friends gather together for this special day. 

Once again, the students listened carefully to the teacher's advice,and talked about the memorable past and the future direction.

When the theatre was full of people, our honourable Vice-Chancellor, Mr Frank Feng, took the stage to thank everyone for coming and also congratulate all the graduates for their rewards because of the hard work and dedication. And a new chapter will begin, please remember the values that Lucton has taught you: compassion, courage, excellence, harmony, humility, initiative, positive, respect and responsibility. 

Let them be your compass in life, guiding you to a broader future and a successful life. And don't forget that you are not alone, and the Luctonian will always be there for you.

两位2023届的毕业生代表陈愚昊与柯奕凌，在毕业典礼上发表了演说，不同的内容，不同的风格，字里行间却都是在述说自己与每一位毕业生的高中回忆与对未来的畅想与期待。

“想成为什么样的人，都取决于你自己，无论是好或坏。”

他们的高中有着太多的第一次，第一次因为疫情而隔离、第一次踏上绿茵场进行足球比赛，第一次深夜学习备考、第一次经历 A-level 考试，而站在未来的风口浪尖，过往的挫折与困难都显得如此微不足道，在他们心中的是海阔凭鱼跃，天高任鸟飞的雄心壮志。

Two graduate representatives of the class of 2023, Lucas Chen and Karen Ke made their speeches at the graduation ceremony, with different content and different styles, but between the lines they were both telling every single memories about high school and the imagination and expectations of a bright future.

"It's up to you who you want to be, for better or for worse."

Their high school had too many first times, the first time isolation because of the COVID-19, the first time to set foot on the field for football match, the first time to stay up late for study preparation, the first experience of the A-level exam, and standing in the seaboard of future, the past difficulties are so insignificant, in their hearts was the boundless sea to swim, the sky high enough to fly.

Looking at the review video of the graduating class, little by little, memories converge into a sea, every friend, every teacher, every ball game, every exam... Tears and moving are also a kind of power, they will carefully collect memories, bring to the future and the distance.

Our dear headmaster, Clem Parrish, concluded the high school life for the graduates. "Today is yours day." He remembered the name of every student, all their good and outstanding points, whether it’s grades, interests or personalities.... Everyone has something to remember. As the spirit of Lucton says, celebrating the unique abilities and talents of every individual. 

Hope that every student in the Class of 2023 could maintain their own uniqueness, becoming a lifelong learner, enter the university of their dreams, and make their own contribution to society and the world.

当校长的演讲落幕，在掌声与欢呼中，将舞台交还给了毕业生们。校长为每一位走上舞台的毕业生亲自授予并帮学生佩戴带有“Class of 2023”精美刺绣的绶带、颁发毕业证书。

随着一份份充满诚意的毕业礼物交到同学们的手中，郑重地宣告着他们正式毕业。

When the headmaster's speech came to an end, the stage was handover to the graduates in applause and cheers. The headmaster personally awarded and helped the students to wear the ribbon with the exquisite embroidery of "Class of 2023" for each graduate on the stage, and awarded the graduation certificate.

With sincere graduation gifts handed to the students, solemnly announcing their formal graduation.

从 2018 年以来，莱克顿学校送走了一批又一批的学子，至今终于迎来了5周年年度庆典。而今年恰逢 Class of 2023 学子的毕业典礼，星月同辉，双典共庆，正是有他们的出席，让 5 周年年度晚宴更添一份光彩与意义。

Since 2018, Lucton has taught one and other session of students and finally ushered in its 5th annual celebration. And this year coincided with the graduation ceremony of the Class of 2023 students, the stars and the moon shined at the same. It was their attendance, that made the 5th annual gala dinner become more meaningful and glorious.

The Class of 2023 got the honor and reward they deserved at the graduation ceremony, and this is not the end, Lucton prepared a gala dinner for them in the ballroom of Shanghai Marriott Hotel, to share the beautiful moment.

当男士们身着燕尾服与西装、女士们身着晚礼服与晚宴服款款步入宴会厅，让整个空间充满了耀眼的光辉。经过主持人的开场与校长与理事们的致辞，在香槟开启的清脆悦耳声中，正式宣布年度晚宴的祝酒开餐。

The gentlemen were in suits, ladies in evening gowns and dinner clothes entered the ballroom, the whole space was filled with brilliance. After the opening of the host and the speeches of the headmaster and the directors, the toast of the annual dinner was officially announced in the clear and pleasant sound of champagne.

The ceremony dining-table, the colorful wine, the delicacy and delicious Western cold food, and the exquisite dessert brought multiple surprises to the taste buds and the vision, accompanied by elegant and charming manners, becoming a moving oil painting.

The graduates strode onto the stage in the applause, and the flowers of youth shook slightly in the wind. When the petal fell beside their foot, the footprints reflected the inheritance and alternations of the old and new Luctonian, turning into courage and wisdom, bringing together the past and the future. Guitar, bass, drum blended in the moving song, youth and beautiful students dancing with pop music, melodious and interwoven chorus let people immerse in youth memories, and finally all the tutors stood together, sang a song of "The Wind Rises" for 2023 graduation students, having been difficult to free ourselves from the big world, but also addicted to the dream, where the heart moves, just go with the wind.

莱克顿就像一座炬火，经年来，有无数的人聚在一起，为这个目标而努力，共同点亮了这一座点亮学子们梦的方向的炬火。

每一个莱克顿人都在为之奋斗、为之付出，无怨无悔。

Lucton is like a torch. Over the years, countless people have gathered together and worked hard for this goal, light up the torch that shines upon the direction of students' dreams. 

At the gala dinner of the fifth anniversary, the headmaster presented awards to people who had made outstanding contributions, 

they were not necessarily teachers.

Students - the winner of Headmaster‘s Special Appreciation Award: Yoyo Yang;

Employees -- the winners of The 5th Anniversary Luctonians Awards for Staff: Elisa Wu , Lynn Xu, Allen Zhang, Amy Zhang, Leo Li;

Parents - the winners of Outstanding Contribution Awards for Parents of FOL: Mrs Zhang Yun, Mr Ge Jiong , Mrs Coco Liang.

Every Luctonian has fought for it, paid for it, and has no regrets.

每位学子都因自己的学院而自豪，它是身份，也是荣誉，在5周年年度晚宴上，也同样颁发了学院荣誉奖项。经过严密的评比与角逐，学院最佳个人奖最终由赤狐学院的徐嘉钰获得，学院最佳班主任奖由张祯获得，而赤狐学院则赢得了年度最佳学院奖项。希望四大学院都奋起直追，保持水准，为了梦想与荣誉而进步。

Each student is proud of his or her college, which is both an identity and an honor, and House Excellence Awards were also presented at the 5th annual dinner. After rigorous evaluation and competition, the winner of Student of the Year was Xu Jiayu of Fox Academy, the winner of the Tutor of the Year was Jessica Zhang, and Fox Academy won the House of the Year. Hoping the other houses will catch up and make progress for dreams and honors.

与彼此相遇，见证莱克顿的第五年，也见证了青春的起点；

相聚于此，走上毕业的舞台，也为高中画上一个句点。

五年来，莱克顿逐渐成长、挺立，在教育新变中求索，在激烈竞争中自强，五年后，我们仍矗立在莱克顿这片教育热土上。

让我们用时光宝瓶将记忆留驻，让最好的青春在这里度过。夏日的树影婆娑，似乎我们仍然是刚刚步入校园的青涩少年，等待上课铃声的响起，但青春总是无怨无悔。

此去经年，让不舍与怀恋化作我们坚定向前的脚步。

五载芳华，青春如歌，未来让我们踏歌而行。

明朝即长路，惜取此时心。

站在人生的十字路口，凤凰花开之时，希望各位同学铭记莱克顿人的精神与价值观，启航驶向拥有无限可能的未来星际，成为时代的开拓者、奋进者、守护者、与建设者，也能够构建属于自己的精彩人生。

We met each other, and witnessed the fifth year of Lucton, also witnessed the beginning of our youth; 

We gathered here, walked on the stage of graduation, and drew an end to our high school.

Over the past five years, Lucton has gradually grown and stood upright, seeking new changes in education and self-improvement in the fierce competition. Five years later, we are still standing in Lucton, a hot land of education.

Let us use the bottle of time to keep the precious memory of Lucton, where our best youth was spend. Summer's shadow dancing, it seemed that we were still just the young man stepping into the campus, waiting for the class bell to ring, but the youth always had no regrets. 

Many years from now on, let the nostalgia turn into our firm steps. 

Five years of youth, five years of Lucton, the youth is like a song, let us keep forward with it.

Tomorrow is another day, cherish the feeling at this moment. 

Standing at the crossroads of life, when the phoenix flower is in bloom, hope that all students will remember the spirit and values of Luctonian, and set sail for the future star with infinite possibilities, to become pioneers, fighters, guardians, and builders of the new era, and also remember to build their own wonder of lives.
