深圳阅读月的活动刚刚结束，但围绕主题 “如何表达自己”的美凯思IB核心课程仍在进行，孩子们对于书籍和阅读的兴趣也仍然高昂。继阅读月主题活动和宝安图书馆外出活动后，美凯思校内故事大赛也于12月14日在美凯思剧场隆重举行。孩子们和父母一起选择了自己最喜欢的主题和书籍，在故事大赛的舞台上勇敢地站到了话筒前，给其他小朋友们分享了自己最爱的故事。
Shenzhen’s reading month activities just concluded but the IB theme “how do we express ourselves” is still going on, and children are still passionate about books and reading. After “Reading Month’s Concert” and “Trip to Baoan Library”, “MKS Story Show and Tell” was held at the MKS theater on December 14th. Children picked their favorite story book with parents and stood in front of the microphone to share their stories.

孩子们准备得十分认真，有的孩子为了更好地展示自己的故事准备了全套的服装和道具，有的孩子则通过电子书的形式把故事通过荧幕分享给其他小朋友们。孩子们从家中带来的故事书和自制的道具，配上老师精心布置的剧场，共同烘托了故事大赛的整体气氛。
Children were well-prepared for the show and tell. Some brought costume and props, while others prepared e-books to show on the large screen. All the preparation and the environment decorated by the teachers together created a special atmosphere for the event.

中班的Will小朋友在舞台上展示了一个情绪化的小怪兽，而小班的Sonia小朋友也完整地描述了一个饥饿的毛毛虫的故事，赢得了在场小朋友和老师们热烈的掌声，更有神秘的“奥特曼”点燃了现场！
Will from K2 demonstrated an emotional little monster while Sonia from K1 told a complete story of “The hungry caterpillar” which got herself a round of applause. Moreover, there was secret Ultraman who ignited the MKS theater.
