The children who traveled to the United States to participate in the winter camp have arrived safely at the Chesapeake Campus and had a wonderful day with the local students. The first day of the VCASZ Winter Camp was full of novelty and joy, let's take a look back at the wonderful moments of their day!

当踏出飞机的那一刻，同学们感受到了一种全新的氛围。他们呼吸着异国的新鲜空气，眼前的一切都充满了未知与新奇。而迎接他们的，是威睿达思学校切萨皮克校区校长Mark Keating一行人的热情笑脸，他们的到来，让孩子们倍感亲切和温暖。

The moment they stepped out of the airplane, the students felt a brand new atmosphere. They breathed in the fresh air of a foreign country, and everything in front of them was full of unknowns and novelties. They were greeted by the smiling faces of Mark Keating, the principal of the Chesapeake Campus of VCA.

在短暂的休息和调整之后，切萨皮克校区的同学们为冬令营的孩子们准备了一场别开生面的欢迎仪式。这是一个相互认识、交流的绝佳机会。孩子们在台上逐一简短地自我介绍，他们虽然还有一些紧张，但在切萨皮克校区同学们鼓励的目光下，逐渐生出了自信和勇气。通过自我介绍，新同学们之间有了一个初步的了解，消除了彼此之间的陌生感。

After a short period of rest and adjustment, students from the Chesapeake School District prepared a unique welcome ceremony for the winter campers. It was a great opportunity to get to know each other. The children introduced themselves briefly on stage one by one. Although they were still a little nervous, they gradually gained confidence and courage under the encouraging eyes of the students from Chesapeake Campus. Through the introductions, the new students were able to get to know each other and eliminate any sense of strangeness.

紧接着，孩子们迎来了他们在美国的第一节体育课。切萨皮克校区的体育老师们为他们精心准备了各种体育活动，让他们在轻松愉快的氛围中迅速融入新的环境中。通过体育活动，孩子们不仅锻炼了身体，还结识了许多新朋友，增进了彼此之间的友谊。

Immediately afterward, the children had their first physical education class in the United States. The P.E. teacher prepared a variety of sports activities for the winter campers, allowing them to quickly integrate into their new environment in a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. Through sports activities, the students not only exercised their bodies, but also made many new friends and enhanced their friendship.

威睿达思的特色课程——领导力训练也在这一天顺利展开。通过一系列有趣而富有挑战性的团队活动，孩子们学会了如何发挥自己的领导才能，与团队成员共同完成任务。他们学会了倾听、沟通、协作和决策，这些都是成为一名优秀领导者所必备的素质。

Leadership Curriculum, a special program of VCA, also started successfully on this day. Through a series of fun and challenging team activities, the children learned how to utilize their leadership skills and work together with their team members to accomplish tasks. They learned to listen, communicate, collaborate and make decisions, all of which are essential qualities to be a good leader.

上完课，孩子们享用了一顿美味的中式自助餐。热腾腾的饭菜、香喷喷的烤肉、甜滋滋的点心，还有那熟悉的家乡味道，让孩子们能够在异国他乡迅速地适应环境。他们围坐在一起，边品尝美食边分享着这一天的趣事。

After class, the children enjoyed a delicious Chinese buffet. The hot meals, fragrant roasted meat, sweet snacks, and the familiar taste of their hometown enabled the children to quickly adapt to the environment in a foreign country. They sat around and shared the interesting events of the day while savoring the food.

虽然孩子们还在努力适应时差，但这一天对他们来说是充实而难忘的。他们结交了新朋友，尝试了新的课程，体验了美国的文化和教育环境。相信在未来的这段时间里，他们会在冬令营中收获更多的成长与快乐！

Although the children are still trying to adjust to jet lag, the day was full and memorable for them. They made new friends, tried new classes, and experienced the American culture and educational environment.
