"To travel is to experience the allure of the world; to study is to immerse oneself in the world's cultures." To enable St Bees students to step into the world, understand British culture and explore the British educational atmosphere, St Bees School, St Bees Dongguan and St Bees Huizhou jointly held a 16-day St Bees Global Summer Camp.

St Bees students embarked on an immersive study journey at St Bees School in the UK. They further expanded their horizons with visits to iconic Cambridge and Oxford Universities, and experienced a slice of British educational excellence at Wycombe Abbey School, which hosted Our World Language School's summer camp this year. This in-depth exposure to British culture and education was designed to foster all-rounded development in our students, nurturing them to become future leaders with a global perspective. 440 Years of Cultural Immersion in St Bees School

圣比斯公学分布于中国与英国的四个校区，各自拥有其独特的地域风貌。来自中国校区的学生们走入了始建于1583年的英国校区，就被学校的美丽和历史所深深吸引。校园周围，郁郁葱葱的绿地映入眼帘，各种各样的植物在阳光下生机勃勃，每一个季节都有不同的色彩和气息。古老的教学楼矗立其中，每一块砖、每一片瓦都见证了这所学校几百年的历史。在这样的环境中，学习不再只是知识的积累，而是一次富有意义的历史和文化之旅。

St Bees School has four campuses in China and the UK, each with its own unique character. Students from the Chinese campus entered the English campus, which was founded in 1583, and were immediately captivated by the beauty and history of the school. The campus is surrounded by lush greenery, and the old school building stands in the middle of it, with every brick and tile bearing witness to the centuries-old history of the school. In such an environment, learning is no longer just an accumulation of knowledge, but a meaningful journey through history and culture.

在英国校区学生的热情邀请下，两校区的学子们漫步于湖边，边欣赏美景，边交流彼此的学习心得，共同探讨个人的未来发展蓝图。这种跨文化的交流，为他们的教育经历增添了独特的色彩。在英国圣比斯公学期间，学生们有幸聆听了Mr Keep的申学指导课程。Mr Keep是一位备受尊敬的导师，他已经成功辅导超过700位学生完成申学工作。在他的课程中，学生们有机会提问，从中获得了深入的理解和新的启示。无论是对于申学流程的疑问，还是对于未来路径的探索，Mr Keep都耐心地解答了他们的问题，让同学们深感收获满满。

At the warm invitation of the students from the UK campus, students from both campuses strolled along the lakeside, enjoying the beautiful scenery, exchanging their learning experiences and discussing their personal blueprints for future development. This cross-cultural exchange added a unique colour to their educational experience. During their time at St Bees, the students had the pleasure of listening to Mr Keep, a highly respected application tutor who has successfully assisted over 700 students with their applications. Whether it was questions about the application process or exploring future pathways, Mr Keep patiently answered their questions in a way that was very rewarding for the students.

Oxford and Cambridge represent the epitome of academia - they are the benchmarks for universities, sanctuaries of knowledge, and time capsules of history. Oxford, often referred to as the 'city of universities', makes an indelible impression with its magnificent and continuous college buildings greeting you from every direction, irrespective of your mode of transportation. Cambridge, similarly known as a 'university within a city', demonstrates a seamless integration of commercial streets with college precincts. Here, you can venture forth into a vibrant tapestry of life, or retreat into the tranquil sanctity of an ocean of literature.

最后一周，学生们在合一集团旗下的世界语言学校—-- 环境优美的威雅公学（Wycombe Abbey，全英学术排名第一的女校）跟着Our World的老师度过了一周封闭式的英语学习、活动和运动课程，学生们与来自世界各地的学生们迅速建立了深厚友谊，并在有趣的活动中提高了口语水平。

In the concluding week, the students embarked on an immersive week of English language instruction, interactive activities, and sports programmes at the picturesque Wycombe Abbey School, the UK's top-ranking girls' school academically. As part of the Full Circle Education's Our World Language School camp held at Wycombe Abbey, the children swiftly forged strong bonds with peers from around the globe and honed their speaking skills through engaging activities, creating a rich and memorable learning experience.

在探索世界的旅途中，种下了诗意与梦想。圣比斯学子在英国的经历、体验和生活，将世界变成了最生动的人生课堂。在这次圣比斯公学双校区研学之旅中，圣比斯的学子们游览了伦敦的著名景点，亲身参观了享誉世界的大英博物馆；他们在利物浦帝国剧院观看了精彩的音乐剧；乘坐了有近百年历史的“敞篷”蒸汽小火车；探索了拥有八百年历史的Muncaster Castle古堡，以及访问了曼彻斯特博物馆等等。这些丰富多彩的经历，让他们更深层次地理解和感受英国文化，增进了他们的世界视野和人文素养。

Embarking on the journey of global exploration, seeds of poetry and dreams were planted. The experiences, explorations, and life in the UK of St Bees students turned the world into their most vibrant classroom. During this study trip across the dual campuses of St Bees School, the students visited renowned landmarks in London, experienced the world-famous British Museum firsthand; they enjoyed splendid musicals at the Liverpool Empire Theatre; rode on an open-top steam train with nearly a century of history; explored the Muncaster Castle, a fortress with an 800-year-old story, and visited the Manchester Museum, among others. These diverse experiences allowed them to understand and appreciate British culture on a deeper level, enhancing their world view and cultural literacy.

这次旅程最宝贵的收获，是在他乡感受风土人文的喜悦以及与当地人交流的过程。圣比斯学子们在英国感受当地生活，体验本土文化，实地调研英式教育，为未来的申学留学埋下了一颗种子。

The most invaluable takeaway from this journey is the joy derived from immersing in the local customs and humanities of another country, and engaging in enriching interactions with the locals. St Bees students didn't just visit the UK; they experienced the rhythm of local life, delved into the nuances of British culture, and explored the dynamics of British education first-hand. This rich and tactile journey has planted a seed of aspiration for their future overseas studies.

清风五载几席前，英伦万里尚为邻。圣比斯将在2023年的夏日，继续为中英两国青少年学生的交流搭建跨越万里的桥梁。

China and the UK are far apart but have a close relationship. St Bees will continue to build bridges across the miles for young students from China and the UK in the summer of 2023.
