金生成功举办首届学术研讨会!

探讨国际教育与未来人才素养

2023年5月13日上午,金生幼儿园首届学术研讨会在文华东方酒店成功举办。本次研讨会以“国际情怀、专研未来”为主题,聚焦探讨IB国际教育与未来人才素养,邀请了近10位IB国际教育领域知名人士和专家学者开展专题讲座与互动交流,现场吸引近200位大湾区教育工作者、家长参与其中。值得一提的是,当天还举办了金生幼儿园成为IB世界学校授权仪式以及金生幼儿园校歌发布仪式。让我们通过视频,一睹当天的精彩盛况吧。

On the morning of May 13, 2023, King's kindergarten first academic seminar was held in the mandarin Oriental hotel. The theme of the seminar is "Broadening the Future with International- mindedness”. We invited nearly 10 IB international education experts to carry out the seminar , which attracted nearly 200 people to join in. We also held the authorization ceremony of King's becoming an IB World School and the announcement of our school song.let's enjoy the wonder video to share our joy.

开幕致辞



邬晓莉深圳市爱文学校高级顾问

国际文凭组织中华IB学校协会副会长

研讨会伊始,深圳市爱文学校高级顾问、国际文凭组织中华IB学校协会副会长邬晓莉女士致开幕辞,分享了她多年来在国际教育领域的经验与见解,帮助参会者了解IB教育如何深刻影响学生的发展。邬校认为,IB课程对孩子的成长有重要的影响,IB课程强调国际情怀教育,在努力打开学生的格局和视野、持续关注人类共同面临的重大问题的同时,特别尊重本国语言文化,积极引导学生形成稳定的身份认同。“IB课程教会学生如何学习,学生的自我管理能力能够得到很好的锻炼,这将为他们以后的人生打下很好的基础。另外IB大学预科(高中)文凭的学生,被优质大学录取的成功率更高。”

At the beginning of the seminar, Ally Wu,Senior Consultant of Shenzhen Avenues School and Vice president of CISA, delivered an opening speech to us, Ally Wu shared her experience and insights in the field of international education over the years, and helping participants understand how IB education profoundly affects the development of students. She believes that IB curriculum has an important impact on the growth of children.

专题讲座

《好奇心 创造力 自信心 ——IB PYP 赋能幼儿全面成长



姜艳|IB中国及蒙古国高级发展经理

IB中国及蒙古国高级发展经理姜艳女士进行首个专题讲座,她详细介绍了IB全人教育的理念、课程框架与教育内涵,并特别分享IB教育作为国际课程与中国本土相结合的成果——《IB PYP(幼儿园阶段)本土化指南》。

Stella Jiang, Senior Development Manager of IB China and Mongolia, took charge of the first lecture. She introduced the concept, curriculum framework and educational connotation of IB holistic education in detail, and specially shared the results of IB education as the combination of international curriculum and Chinese local —— "IB PYP (Kindergarten) Localization Guidelines".

姜总还提到在新加坡和澳大利亚进行的一项研究课题,调查了PYP 幼儿阶段的学习成果。研究发现:孩子们的读写技能在学校得到了很好的发展,与作为参照的儿童相比,PYP学生在入学准备方面的表现水平更好;孩子们在学习掌握学习技能方面,比参照儿童表现得更好。

She also mentioned a research in Singapore and Australia investigating the early outcomes of PYP. The study found that literacy skills were well developed in school, with PYP students performing better both in school preparation and learning skills than reference children.

专题讲座

《金生学习者社区文化构建》



韦小冰|金生幼儿园总园长

金生幼儿园总园长韦小冰女士进行了第二个专题分享,她从校园管理文化、课程协作文化、社区协同文化三个方面,从文化解构角度分享了有关金生学习者社区文化建构的深入思考。学习社区包括了所有参与学校生活的人:学生和他们的家庭,学校的所有工作人员和其他对学生生活起重要作用的成年人。社区中的每一位成员都具有能动性,将自己视作学习社区发展壮大和取得成功的贡献者,并采取行动带来积极的变化。韦园长提到,金生仅用两年时间就能获得国际文凭组织授权为IB世界学校,离不开幼儿园的学习者社区文化建构与每一位成员的积极行动。

Ricqle Wei, the General Principal of King's, shared the second topic. She discussed the construction of King's learners' community culture from three aspects: campus management culture, curriculum cooperation culture and community collaboration culture. Ricqle emphasized that in only two years, King's was authorized by the IBO as a IB World School, which was inseparable from the kindergarten learner community culture construction and the positive actions of each member.

《金生幼儿园校歌发布仪式


研讨会间隙,金生幼儿园还首次对外发布了校歌,小朋友和教师代表登台演唱,大方自信地表演,稚嫩美妙的童声,传达出他们对幼儿园的热爱。韦园长介绍,金生幼儿园校歌由金生家长与教师共同创作,是金生社区协同文化的结晶。

King's also announced the school song for the first time. Children and teacher sang on the stage  to express their love for the kindergarten. Ricqle Wei introduced that the school song is jointly created by King's parents and teachers, which is one of the results of King's learner community.

专题讲座

《越过课堂,跃进未来》



Virginia Lockman Hunt|香港学堂的小学部校长

第三个专题讲座的嘉宾是来自香港学堂的小学部校长Virginia Lockman Hunt,她的演讲触动了在场每一位教育工作者和家长的思考:教师与家长作为教育的塑造者和推动者,应该如何将教育理想与前沿的教育理论落地到教育实践中?未来需要怎样的人才,我们可以如何进行培养?等等。Virginia指出:应对未来世界的挑战和机遇,学生需要具备一系列技能和能力,包括批判性思考、积极倡导和发起行动,同时关注、包容他人,这都是IB的学习者培养目标涉及到的内容。

The speaker of the third lecture is Virginia Lockman Hunt, the principal of the primary school of HKA. Her speech drove us to think about many questions: How should teachers and parents, as educational shapers and shakers, implement educational ideals and cutting-edge educational theories into educational practice? What kind of talents are needed in the future? Virginia pointed out that to meet the challenges and opportunities of the future world, students need to have a range of skills and abilities, including critical thinking, actively advocating and initiating actions, while focusing on accommodating others.

闭幕致辞



袁爱玲|华南师范大学教育科学学院教授

活动尾声,华南师范大学教育科学学院袁爱玲教授为本次研讨会致闭幕辞,袁教授对金生幼儿园能够获得IB授权认证并举行本次高质量学术盛宴表示祝贺。她指出,IB教育的国际情怀与国际视野与人类命运共同体的概念是高度契合的,IB教育的前瞻性对于本土教育事业发展具有重要借鉴意义。

At the end of the activity, Professor Yuan Ailing from School of Education Science, South China Normal University delivered a closing speech for this seminar. Yuan congratulated him on King's Kindergarten being authorized by IB and holding this high-quality academic feast. She pointed out that IB education is highly compatible with the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind, and the forward-looking nature of IB education has important reference significance for the development of local education.
