7月11日至13日，成都协同学校开展了以保护地球为主题的暑期体验营，注重学科教学的同时，我们也添加了综合实践活动课程。在这场别具一格的夏令营中孩子们不仅体验了我校生动有趣的课程，还有效地提高了环保意识，锻炼了团队协作能力以及提升了自身领导能力。

From July 11th to July 13th, CCIS held the summer camp 'Protecting the Earth'. In this unique summer camp, the children experienced first-hand the lively and meaningful courses of our school. Not only is the focus on academic learning, but students also learned concepts of environment protection. In this camp, students’ awareness of environmental protection, team cooperation and leadership skills have been developed and enhanced.

在入营的破冰游戏中，学生们相互认识，了解彼此，结交新朋友。之后的环节中,同学们坐在布满“垃圾”的环境下，通过观看纪录片了解了三大主要污染：土地污染，空气污染和塑料污染，在老师的引导下积极思考了造成这三大污染的原因，以及地球上还存在的其他污染类型。课堂的最后同学们将教室的垃圾进行了正确的分类。

Starting with some ice-breaker games, the students got to know more about each other. After that, they found themselves sitting in a classroom full of garbage- what an unforgettable lesson! From watching a documentary, they learned about land pollution, air pollution, and plastic pollution. With the guidance of the teachers, the students began to think about what caused these pollutions and what are some other pollutions on the earth. Then the students classified the garbage that was in their midst.

走出课堂学生来到大自然中，一堂以“自然”为主题的美术课在户外开始了。刚刚在课堂了解了地球正在遭受污染，现在来到公园看看蓝蓝的天空，清澈的湖水，美丽的大山，此时再来思考为什么要保护自然就变得更加有意义了。

Out of the classroom, the students had 'nature' art class in the natural surroundings. After understanding what the earth is suffering from pollution, they appreciated the blue sky, clear water, and beautiful mountains, which helped reinforced their thinking on why we should take action to protect our mother earth.

我们以“let's be a green community”为主题，开展了一场生动的科学课。

'Let's be a green community', was the theme of the lively science class.

数学课程以数学和环境保护相结合，同学们通过学习计算出每日每个学生洗手所浪费的水资源，然后推算出全中国学生一年所浪费的水资源。

In the math class, by combining mathematics learning with environmental protection, the students learned how to calculate the water resources wasted by a student per day when they wash hands, then calculated how much water resources have been wasted by all students in whole of China.

音乐课上Ms. Mc Lernon通过教授音乐告诉同学们要爱护环境保护资源。

In the music class, Ms. Mc Lernon taught the students about protecting the environment through this song.

两天的课程结束后，学生们进行了一次精彩的展示。

Finally, the students gave a brilliant presentation to show case what they had learned in these amazing two days.
