The Moon on the Mid-Autumn Festival is,

Not only the taste of home, but also the love of reunion.

家对于每一个人的概念是不一样的，成都康礼学校作为一所寄宿制学校（Boarding school），有来自天南地北、国内国外的孩子们。有的孩子可能经常会跟家里人一起，有的孩子又不得不面对和家人的分别。对他们而言，“家”的味道可能不仅仅是甜蜜，也会有思念、酸涩等等，所以我们希望以“月亮的味道”为主题，激发每个孩子的想象力，以及对“家”的思考与诠释，在中秋这样一个传统的团圆的日子，能够和家人、朋友、老师一起去共享家的开心、甜蜜的氛围。

The understanding of family varies from person to person. As a boarding school, Cogdel School Chengdu has students from all over the world. Some of them may often be with their families, while others may have to be separated from their families. For them, the taste of family may not only be sweet, but also longing for home. Therefore, we hope to use the theme of "The Taste of the Moon" to stimulate every student's thinking and interpretation of home. On a traditional reunion day like the Mid-Autumn Festival, we can share the happy and sweet atmosphere of home with family, friends, and teachers.

而这次的活动与以往不同，不仅有中秋传统的猜灯谜、投壶等互动游戏，我们还借鉴了嘉年华、漫展等游园形式，设置了让人目不暇接的集市活动。每个班级将有属于自己的摊位，围绕着“中秋”“家”“月亮”的主题，进行筹划与布展。之前学到的营销、商业知识，现在是时候亲自操盘啦！产品、定价、推广方式，如何搭配，是成为叱咤校园的商业大鳄，还是门可罗雀铩羽而归，一次集市就可以体验。

This event is different from the past. Besides the traditional games on the Mid-Autumn Festival like guessing lantern riddles, throwing pot, etc, we also draw inspiration from the carnival, comic con and throw a bazaar.Each class will have its booth in the bazaar, which will be planned and arranged around the themes of "Mid-Autumn Festival", "Family", and "Moon". Students can practice all the marketing and business knowledge they have learned. How to arrange the products, pricing and marketing strategies? Whether you will have a great business success or only few customers, you can experience them all in the bazaar. 

除了形式上的创新，学校还联合家委会等平台，将在本次活动中设置一系列的公益环节。首先，本次活动各摊位营收的20%，我们将通过联合国儿童基金会捐给中国项目“帮助困境儿童”，希望能在这个美好的传统佳节，为他们送去一丝家的温暖与馨香。此外，家委会还发起了图书捐赠活动，分享彼此喜爱的书籍，丹桂飘香中，还有书卷带来的油墨香。这些环节的设置，让家长们能够更多地参与到学校教育中，更好地实现“家校共育”，也让我们更具象地传递了“家”的概念。

In addition to innovative form, the school will also collaborate with platforms like the Parent Committee to do charity activities in this event. Firstly, 20% of the revenue from each booth will be donated to support to the most urgently needed Chinese projects through UNICEF. We hope to bring them warmth on this beautiful traditional festival.  The Parent Committee also launched a book-donating activity to share their favorite books. These activities could enable the parents to involve themselves in school education to better achieve “family and school’s co-education” and convey a more vivid concept of “family”.

我们希望在这个特殊的时刻，大家都能把心中的家，带到康礼来，和你的家人、朋友们一起，开心地玩耍，尽情地欢笑，享受家的温暖，感受团圆的甜蜜。每一个人都能够全情投入到本次活动之中，沉浸式的感受传统文化与现代文明的融合，我们想要讨论与传递的，不仅仅是“月亮”与“中秋”的味道，还有那份深深的家国情怀。

我们相信，这个活动将会成为大家一个无比特别的记忆，找到属于自己的“月亮的味道”。

We believe that this event will become an incredibly special memory for everyone, finding their own taste of the moon.

We hope that at this special moment, everyone can bring their family to Codgel School, and enjoy the atmosphere of happiness and the sweetness of reunion. Everyone could be aborbed in this event and experience the mix of traditional culture and modern civilization immersively. What we want to convey is not only the taste of the moon and Mid-Autumn Festival but also the deep sense of patriotism.
