英国物理测评（中&高级）（IPC&SPC Online） 是由英国物理奥林匹克活动组委会主办。题型新颖，在试题中将基本的物理原理与生活联系在一起，旨在拓展学生的横向思维能力，激发学生的物理潜能，是一项极具挑战性的活动。

该测评作为英国物理奥林匹克系列学术交流活动之一，在申请英国大学乃至世界名校的理工科专业——物理、工程、材料等时认可度很高。成绩优异者将增加牛剑藤校等世界名校理工科专业申请的竞争优势。

The UKMT Intermediate Mathematical Challenge (IMC), organized by the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust (UKMT), is the largest and most prestigious mathematics competition for secondary school students in the UK. Aimed primarily at Year 10 (equivalent to Grade 10/first year of high school) and below, this authoritative assessment attracts over 700,000 participants globally each year.

This challenge encourages students to develop mathematical reasoning, demonstrate precision in logical thinking, and fluently apply fundamental mathematical techniques to solve intriguing problems. Recognized by numerous British secondary schools and universities, the IMC serves as a robust validation of mathematical aptitude and problem-solving capabilities.

The British Physics Competition (Intermediate & Senior) IPC&SPC Online is organized by the UK Physics Olympiad Committee. It features innovative question types that integrate fundamental physics principles with real-life scenarios, aiming to enhance students' lateral thinking and unlock their physics potential. As part of the prestigious British Physics Olympiad series, this competition holds high recognition for applications to STEM programs (Physics, Engineering, Materials Science) at universities worldwide, including Oxford, Cambridge, and Ivy League institutions. Achieving excellence here significantly strengthens candidates' competitiveness for top-tier academic opportunities.

In the opinion of Mr. Joe Zeng, our physics teacher, Simba and William have demonstrated outstanding physics literacy in class. This award can be seen as a preparatory attempt for them to face higher-level academic challenges. They maintain good academic habits and knowledge accumulation in their daily studies, especially in the continuous refinement of in-depth learning in physics. Considering the upcoming British Physics Olympiad (BPHO) in November, our school plans to arrange 1-2 evening study sessions per week from now until the competition, using a combination of systematic special topic training and personalized Q&A to help them achieve an advanced breakthrough in their academic abilities.
