A Marvelous Day

六月十日，Gr.5 和Gr.6同学们跟三位老师在牧马山度过了奇妙的一天。

G5&6 had a Marvelous Day in Mumashan hills on June 10th.

Gr.5 和Gr.6有着多种多样的项目围绕着学业、能力培、品德等主题展开，其中有一个项目贯穿学年始终——那就是弹珠银行：同学们通过优秀表现挣取弹珠换奖励。

Marble Bank - One of the various projects for developing academic skills and character, which lasts for the whole school year. Students earn marbles by behaving well as a whole group and the marbles can be exchanged for prizes.

学年末，眼看快要“满级”，同学们用了大约一个月的时间讨论并改进出一个旅行计划。

Towards the end of this semester, as the marbles reach close to level 10, the students started planning for their trip.

最后，我们确认去牧马山徒步。

Finally, the decision was to go hiking in the Muma Hills.

老师们反复测试了路线，同学们参与制定了游戏，六月十日一早大家乘校车来到牧马山一片果园门口，然后开始翻山越岭。

The teachers had tried out the route, and the students were involved in the game designing. On the morning of June 10th, we set off for our hike.

我们吃到了“凤凰脆李”

The “Phoenix Crunchy Plum” was so delicious.

不走寻常路

Life is about taking the uncommon route.

在池塘边比赛谁扔竹枝最远。

We had a competition on throwing the bamboo branches next to the pond.

堆笋塔

We piled up bamboo shoots to build a tower

寻找渔鸟

We searched for Kingfishers.

野餐

After picnic, we played with sticky seeds we found in the wild.

玩“撕名牌”

We played “Capturing the Flag”

校长埋伏在半路装作神秘生物给我们“惊喜”。

We were scared of a mysterious creature and in the end it turned out to be our principal, Mr. Dorgelo.

在土矿场玩飞盘

We played Frisbee at an open area

一天结束后，每个人都有自己的难忘时刻，学生们很开心拥有这些难得的体验。纷纷表示期待下一次旅程!

In the end, the students reflected on the trip, realizing that everyone got their own precious moments. They were happy with the unforgettable experience, looking forward to the next journey.
