（关于George）2019年，他以小托福830分的高分，以及自己优秀的综合能力被美国圣安德鲁圣公会学校录取，开启了美国学习生活之旅。

(About George) In 2019, he was admitted to St. Andrew's School in the USA. With a high score of 830 on the TOFEL and his excellent competence, George started his study journey in America.

6月21日，成都协同迎来了优秀毕业生George同学返校。

On June 21st, CCIS welcomed its outstanding alumni, George, back to school.

2021年初，我们收到了来自George的好消息，他分别收到来自哈佛大学夏校、斯坦福大学夏校、伯克利大学夏校的录取通知。这不仅是对他学习成绩和综合素质的肯定，也是对成都协同学校桥梁课程教育成果的实践。

In early 2021, we received another good news from George. He had received offers from Harvard University Summer School, Stanford University Summer School, and Berkeley University Summer School. This is not only an affirmation of his academic performance, but also the solid foundation of the educational bridge course while in CCIS.

With a heart of gratitude for his alma mater, George gladly gave us an interview. Let's take a look at his interview.

请简单介绍下你目前在美国的生活和最大的挑战吧！

Please briefly introduce your current life in the United States and your biggest challenge？

A：我2019年秋季从协同毕业，到美国开始留学生活。目前我就读的是在美国弗罗里达南部的圣安德鲁学校。我现在喜欢的运动是跑步和摔跤。最大的挑战就是英语阅读速度。

A: I graduated from CCIS in the fall of 2019 and began studying abroad at St. Andrew's School in Southern Florida. Currently, my favorite sport is running and boxing. My biggest challenge is the speed of reading in English.

在美国读高中和你的同龄人在中国读高中的区别在哪里？

What is the difference between studying in an American high school and your peers studying in high school in China?

A：首先，无论在美国还是在中国都是有压力的，只是压力源的不同。我在国内的同学就是每天刷题。而在美国，项目化学习的压力也是很大的，而且它和刷题不同在于，你必须有合理的精力和时间的安排。同时，美国学校要求你必须参加体育锻炼，在高中课程上面，也是注重你以后想从事的专业和兴趣。

A: First of all, we all have pressures but the source of pressure differs. My peers in China take tests each day. While the high school in US, the pressure of project-based learning is heavy, it requires you to have good management of your energy and time. Participating in Physical Exercise is a must. American high school curriculum also focuses on your future professional development and interests.

你在协同两年的学习，对你在美国学校的帮助是什么？

What did you get most from the two-years study at CCIS?

A：第一个就是语言能力，协同学校的IEP（英语分层教学）和项目化学习都给了我很大的帮助，并且给了我自信，可以和外籍老师自由的沟通。

A: The first thing is language ability. The IEP (Intensive English Program) and project-based learning have given me a lot of help, and it has given me self-confidence and communicative ability with foreign teachers.

请留下你对母校和学弟学妹的寄语！

What word of encouragements would you say to your younger schoolmates!

A：对于协同，我希望学校可以更加严格，标准更高，这样在学生去到国外生活时，会更加的平稳和自信。

对于学弟学妹们，希望大家不要拖拉，找到自己的兴趣点，找到自己喜欢的一项运动，突破舒适圈，英语练习上多听无字幕电影，一开始很难但是一直训练自己你会有收获的。

A: For CCIS, I hope the school will follow its strict and high standards, so that students will be more stable and confident when they study abroad. For the younger schoolmates,

-Don't procrastinate!

-Find your interest!

-Stick with a sport you like!

-Break through your comfort zone!

Listen to non-subtitled movies in English, it's difficult at first but keep training yourself and you will gain from the learning.
