At PIEP, we encourage creative thinking and expression through IB inquiry-based learning. To celebrate this unit, our young learners will showcase their discoveries and understanding through a series of lively stage performances!

从远古洞穴里的神秘壁画,到古代光影摇曳的皮影戏,再到现代令人惊叹的奇幻电影,故事一直是人类传递思想、情感和智慧的重要方式。
From ancient cave paintings to shadow puppetry to modern fantasy films, storytelling has always been a powerful way for humans to share ideas, emotions, and wisdom.
在 Beta 探究单元,我们将踏上一段奇妙的旅程,从故事的灵感起源,到角色的塑造;从情节的巧妙编排,到主题的升华,每一个环节都充满了探索的乐趣。最后,我们还会把自己创编的故事搬上舞台,用表演的方式让自己的创作 “活” 起来。
In the Beta inquiry unit, students embark on a creative journey—discovering the roots of stories, developing characters, crafting plots, and exploring meaningful themes. Their journey will culminate in a stage performance, where they bring their original stories to life.

给白纸涂上喜欢的颜色,用鼓槌敲出动人的旋律,在太阳底下观察影子的形状,在这些幼儿园中的日常活动中,其实蕴含了颜色、声音、光影这样奇妙的感知信号。Alpha这一探究单元,老师们带领着孩子们在“玩”中感知颜色、声音、光影的基本特征和变化规律,并鼓励他们运动这些常见的元素进行创造性表达。
Painting with favorite colors, tapping rhythms on drums, watching shadows shift under the sun—these everyday moments in kindergarten are full of wonder. In the Alpha inquiry unit, children explore the magic of color, sound, and light through play. Guided by their teachers, they discover patterns and changes, and are encouraged to express themselves creatively using these elements.

幼儿园,可以说是孩子第二个家,孩子们将在此学习和生活,在此构建对世界的认知、展开个性、社会性和情感发展,健康快乐地成长。Mini班本学期的探究主题为“我们如何组织自己—学校”,探究我们的大校园,并认识幼儿园中学习生活的各种规则,能很好地帮助孩子形成对身份认同的理解、创造对校园的信任和归属感,从而更好地帮助低龄段的孩子融入学习生活。
Kindergarten is like a second home, where children learn, grow, and begin to understand the world around them. This semester, the Mini class is exploring the theme How We Organize Ourselves – School. Through learning about our campus and daily routines, children begin to develop a sense of identity, trust, and belonging—helping them adjust smoothly to school life and build a strong foundation for future learning.
