The world is changing at an unprecedented pace, and technological innovations have brought the wildest recesses of our imaginations into reality!

Smart devices such as food delivery and sweeping robots are already replacing manual labour; self-driving cars and self-check-out counters are freeing up our time; and VR is introducing imaginary worlds into our day-to-day realities.

Now just imagine, what might jobs of the FUTURE look like? 

Colleagues sitting next to you every day might be robots; the office you sit in might not have real walls (you may even be teleported); and so much more!

What will education of the future look like? 

Will cutting-edge technologies such as drones, quantum computers, and Virtual Reality be used in classrooms? In the past, it was widely understood it would take some 80 years to reshape children’s understanding of the world around them, but this has now been truncated to just five years or less. With K-12 education spanning more than 10 years, will the knowledge gleaned during this time suffice to prepare students for future work and life?

A fast changing and uncertain future inspires endless possibilities in the field of education. Benenden Bilingual School Guangzhou (“BBSG”) is about to open just such a new chapter! The BBSG team has spent the past three years on curriculum development alone.

Guided by the Complete Education ethose, we are cooperating with strategic partners and curriculum experts to design a four-dimensional curriculum oriented toward developing future talents for the sustainable development of our region.

Our core curriculum lays a solid academic foundation for students to help them develop excellent bilingual skills, as well as prepare for future studies in local and overseas universities. Our school-based curriculum helps students prepare for learning opportunities abroad and at home. Our enrichment programmes focus on helping students to develop personal interests, explore individual passions, and realise their unique potential.

Our four signature programmes will provide students with continuous ongoing support:

QUEST – Encourages students to pursue their aspirations.

From the "Wall of 100 Possibilities" to Junior and Senior Counseling, we guide students step by step to find their passions and core competencies, and ensure they have a clear sense of direction to achieve their goals. This programme will help them achieve excellence in their future careers and lives.

Culture Academy – Strengthens students’ identities and attributes.

In an internationally minded learning environment, we actively promote students' understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture; to gain a clear understanding of self while ensuring Chinese culture and traditions form a solid part of their identity. We believe in encouraging children to feel confident about their cultural roots, no matter where they end up in the future!

AI for Humanity - Cultivates students' digital literacies

Technology is an important driving force for sustainable development. Students of BBSG will not only learn programming, sensing technology, and even quantum computing, but will actively create customized AI technology for the benefit of society and mankind.

World of Work -Connects students with the workplace to gain professional knowledge and skills

We collaborate with industry partners to provide students with first-hand experiential learning opportunities in the real world of work context. Students will draw on these experiences to discover their passions and interests, plan education pathways, and map out career paths to prepare for the future.

Schools are by no means an assembly line for cultivating talents. BBSG believes that every child is unique, with his/her own needs, potential, passions and interests. Pastoral care sits at the core of our educational vision and ethos, and is part of daily life at our school. Our self-care and wellbeing programs address each child's individual physical and mental health. Pastoral parent workshops led by educational experts guide parents in helping students to identify success and happiness at every stage of life.

创新中心在总体规划中占据着突出的位置，配备了量子计算机、3D打印机等高精尖设备，将开设AI与编程、AI与创新、量子AI、机器人、木工、服装设计等课程，通过项目式、探究式学习，激发和培养学生的好奇心与创造力。

表演艺术中心精心配备了三个表演剧场，包括能容纳300余人、可供戏剧和舞蹈表演的综合剧院，一个联通室内外、专门用于钢琴等音乐演奏的演奏大厅，及用于沉浸式话剧表演的黑箱剧场。不仅如此，学校还特邀百老汇资深戏剧表演艺术家担任演艺中心顾问。

戏剧表演作为学校的特色课程之一，从小学一年级开始就是必修课程。博萃德相信，艺术和表演空间的支持让每一个孩子都能找到自己的“主场”，拥有非凡的艺术审美力，成为自信的表达者。

博萃德的体育中心为学生提供极其丰富的体育设施和体育项目，包括壁球、游泳，篮球、羽毛球、网球、攀岩、瑜伽、健身房等，其中篮球馆和壁球馆按国际赛事标准打造。

这是一座蕴藏无限可能的校园，无论是体育、音乐、舞蹈、科学创新…你都能找到学习和施展的舞台。我们将开设众多课外活动、假期项目，并借鉴英国博耐顿学校极具特色的“基石项目”——学生们曾在这个项目中乘坐自制的微型飞机飞上蓝天、完成自制的汽车等——让孩子们有更多机会探索自己的潜能与热爱，找到人生方向，成为自驱向前的未来人才。

BBSG is a world-class, university-style campus, home to state-of-the-art facilities and the most advanced EduTech. The entire project is a collaborative curation led by architects from Mainland China, the UK and the US; each draws on his/her expertise to ensure our three landmark sites are of the highest standard.

The Innovation Centre occupies a prominent position on campus and is equipped with (among other things) quantum computers, 3D printers and other high-end equipment, offering courses in AI programming, AI and innovation, quantum AI, robotics, woodworking, and fashion design to spark students' curiosity and creativity through inquiry-based learning.

The Performing Arts Centre features a main theatre that can accommodate an audience of more than 300 for drama and dance performances; a recital hall which connects to the outdoors, and a black box theatre for performances and rehearsals. In addition to our highly experienced and qualified Performing Arts staff, the school also invites senior Broadway theatre performance artists to serve as Performing Arts consultants.

As one of the school’s signature programmes, drama will be a compulsory from Grade 1. BBSG believes that the dramatic arts help every child discover his/her potential and grow confident in him/herself.

The Sports Centre provides students with the facilities to experience different sports, including squash, swimming, basketball, badminton, tennis, rock climbing, yoga, gymnasium, and more. The basketball and squash courts are built to accommodate international competitions.

On this campus of infinite possibilities, we will offer diverse extracurricular activities, summer programmes, unique "cornerstone projects,” and so much more.
