Chinese Chang'e lunar probe achieved the first soft landing on the far side of the moon in human history; the 500-metre Aperture Spherical Telescope (FAST), also known as "Tianyan," discovered new pulsars; and the "Kunlong" deep-sea submersible is exploring new frontiers in deep-water exploration and scientific research. Technological innovation penetrates and influences all aspects of our daily lives, from the internet, artificial intelligence and virtual reality to quantum science.

The indoor riding arena at FCG, covering an area of 800 square metres, was unveiled, making it the only international school in Guangzhou with an "indoor star-rated equestrian centre" qualification. We have partnered with the Guangzhou Bosai Equestrian Club to provide personalised equestrian training for students of all ages, including initiation, advanced learning, and high-level international competitions. The Guangzhou Bosai Equestrian Club has been certified with authoritative qualifications such as the "national youth sports club". It is the only hosting unit for the Guangzhou region of the 2023 Guangdong Equestrian U-Series.

The exciting "subject + technology" projects ignited the students' enthusiasm for various subjects. Led by teachers from the science group, mathematics group, information technology group, and art group, about 30 technology interactive exhibits, such as a DJ  robot, swirl ring air cannon, musical steps, 3D super magic cube, and magic airship, were brought to the festival by students and teachers. Scientific quality education is hidden in the fun and practical experiences, and the fun-filled technology interactive experience allowed students and guests to feel the charm of technology.

The sound of horse hooves could be heard in the nearby equestrian centre as coaches and students demonstrated equestrian courses. In the FCG STEAM Festival, students explored cutting-edge scientific and technological projects through various technology projects. Through equestrian practice courses, they developed a sense of responsibility and care for nature.

Multi-disciplinary learning with different categories of scientific and technological interaction and equestrian courses allows students to master tedious theoretical knowledge through immersive cross-disciplinary interactions and understand the relationships and interactions between other subjects. Students are trained with macro thinking that everything is interconnected.
