On 23rd November, ISA Tianhe held the launching ceremony of "ISA Charity Month". Students, parent representatives, guests from charitable organisations, school leaders and teachers participated. The event emphasised the importance of charity and community involvement and aimed to work together for the common good.

11月23日，爱莎天河学校举办了“爱莎慈善公益月”启动仪式。学生、家长代表、慈善机构嘉宾一起参与了慈善月的启动仪式。活动以强调慈善和社区参与的重要性，旨在唤起大家 “益起行动，遇见美好”。

During the event, the Head of School, Ms. Beth, gave an opening speech, stressing that charity is not only an act, but also a spirit, an attitude of caring and helping others. She also demonstrated ISA's vision and mission 'Inquire, Succeed, Act'. She encouraged students to actively participate in charitable activities and advocated starting from small things, contributing to the community and nurturing a young generation with a sense of social responsibility.

活动中，校长Beth女士做了开场演讲，她强调慈善不仅是一种行为，更是一种精神，一种关心他人、帮助他人的态度，同时也呼应了爱莎的愿景与使命 ’Inquire, Succeed, Act‘。她鼓励学生们积极参与慈善活动，提倡从小事做起，为社区贡献力量，培养出具有社会责任感的年轻一代。

Ms. Sylvia, the Head of ISA Charity Fund delivered a speech, introducing the background and objectives of the Fund and briefly outlining the programme of activities for this year's Charity Month, in which students raised their hands to indicate their willingness to participate. She emphasised the importance of charitable activities to the community and how you can help others by getting involved. She encouraged students, teachers and parents to take an active part in creating a better community.

爱莎公益基金的负责人Sylvia女士发表了讲话，向大家介绍了该基金的背景和目标，并简要概述了今年慈善月的活动安排，学生们纷纷举手表示自己愿意参与其中。她强调了慈善活动对社区的重要性，以及如何通过参与慈善活动来帮助他人。她鼓励学生、教师和家长积极参与，共同创造一个更加美好的社会。

In the speech of the parent representative, Ms. Panny Yang, President of PSG, shared her experience and insights in participating in charitable activities, as well as her understanding of charity, and emphasised the positive impact of charitable activities on family relationships and children's development. These shares not only showed the PSG support for the school's charitable endeavours, but also set an example for the students.

在家长代表的演讲中，家长委员会主席Panny女士分享了她参与慈善活动的经验和心得，以及她对慈善的理解，并强调了慈善活动对家庭关系和孩子成长的积极影响。这些分享不仅表示了家委会对学校慈善事业的支持，也给学生们树立了榜样。

The event also featured a presentation by Mr. Simba, a representative of Wilderness Explorers and Wildlife Conservationists. He introduced to students the issues related to animal welfare and the wildlife conservation. By sharing stories and examples of his life in Kenya, he made the students realise the responsibility of human beings towards animal welfare and encouraged them to improve the lives of animals through their own actions. This session triggered in-depth thinking and discussion among the students and stimulated their interest and passion for animal protection.

The final session of the puzzle starter further motivated the students. It symbolised the need for everyone to take action and work together to help create a better world. This activity not only enhanced the sense of teamwork, but also reminded the participants that it is only through active participation that we can truly impact and make a difference in our community and the world.

最后的拼图启动环节，进一步激发了学生的积极性。这象征着每个人都需要行动起来，共同努力，帮助创造一个更美好的世界。这个活动不仅增强了团队合作意识，也提醒了参与者们，只有通过积极参与，才能真正影响和改变我们的社区和世界。

Through this event, students not only deepened the understanding of charity and community involvement, but also inspired us all to take action. We believe that only through active participation can we truly impact and change our community and the world.
