On November 25, NewSchool Insight awarded Ms. Beth the title of “Most Influential International School Principal” at the VIS International School Development Conference. Hundreds of international education leaders from domestic and international schools, organisations, academic leaders, and other guests attended the award ceremony in Shanghai. Ms. Beth, Head of ISA Tianhe and Executive Principal of ISA Liwan International School, was naturally invited to this award ceremony of the 8th Most Influential International School Principal.

With over 30 years of experience in education, Ms. Beth joined the founding team at ISA Tianhe in 2016. Her career in education has ranged from Early Years programmes, primary schools in the UK and the rest of Europe, to A-Level and IGCSE programmes in British schools in Russia.
深耕教育行业30年，Beth女士于2016年加入爱莎天河学校的创校团队。她的教育生涯横跨了英国、欧洲的幼儿园和小学，以及俄罗斯英式学校的A-Level、IGCSE项目。
Ms. Beth is widely recognised for her relevant knowledge and practical skills in education. She holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in English Literature and Dramatic Arts from the University of Exeter in the UK, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in English Literature and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education. Her academic background has provided her with a solid foundation for a comprehensive understanding of educational theory and practice.

To better understand and teach within the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP), she has completed relevant leadership and pedagogy training and has been awarded the IB Leadership Certificate. This training has provided her with a deeper understanding of the philosophy and pedagogy of the IB PYP and has enabled her to coach other teachers in teaching within the IB PYP.

Ms. Beth played a crucial role in the founding of ISA Tianhe School. Over time, she has held the position of Director of Marketing & Communications for ISA International Education Group, as well as being the current Head of ISA Tianhe and Executive Principal of ISA Liwan International School. All of these have proved her leadership and vision in positively impacting the development of the school.
She has demonstrated her philosophy and vision for education by focusing on the personalised development of students and by promoting innovative and critical thinking. These have been accomplished through an emphasis on international perspectives and cross-cultural communication.
