Every gain in a child's developmental journey needs to be witnessed by members of the learning community.



孩子成长路上的每一次收获,都需要学习社区成员的共同见证。


At the end of this semester, the kids carefully prepared an exhibition performance around their respective themes of inquiry, which was not only a stage for their parents to see the results of their learning, but also for the children to enjoy the process of creating and expressing themselves to the fullest.

在一个学期的结尾,小华狮们围绕着各自的探究主题精心准备了单元结题展演出,这不仅是大朋友们看见学习成果的舞台,也是让孩子们享受创造、尽情展现自我的过程。

In the transdisciplinary theme of ‘Who we are’, Mini kids began to explore themselves, focusing on learning about My Body and What Our Bodies Can Do.



在IB第一单元“我们是谁”学习中,Mini班小朋友们开始探索自我,专注于我的身体和我们的身体能做什么。

Through this unit of study, the Alpha kids have developed an awareness of their own community by focusing on the central idea of people playing different roles in the communities. They are based on these three lines of inquiry, ‘The different communities we are in’, ‘People play different roles in our communities’ and ‘How to organize the communities’.



Alpha班的孩子通过本单元的学习,围绕中心思想“人们在各自所属的社区中扮演不同的角色“为核心,着眼于我们各自所属的社区,人们在社区中扮演不同的角色,社区是如何组织的,这三条线索为出发点进行探究,孩子们逐步意识到自己身处于社区的大家庭中。

In IB Inquiry, children are encouraged to think and express themselves creatively. So what creative discoveries will the Alpha kids made in their inquiry about community? The Unit 2 inquiry exhibition is presented in the form of a stage play, where the children interpret their understanding of the theme of community into a spectacular show.

What are symbols? Which symbols are signs? What is their function? It turns out that symbols and signs are more than just graphics, they are a special language through which we can better understand the world. The next six speakers from Beta Class will introduce their journey of inquiry.



那什么是符号呢?哪些又是属于标志呢?他们的作用是什么呢?原来符号和标志不仅仅是图形,它们是一种特殊的语言,通过它们我们能更好地理解世界,接下来将由Beta班6位演讲者介绍他们的探究历程。

In Gamma's unit on Celebration, the children have been learning about the origins and celebrations of many festivals around the world, as well as exploring many of the cultural practices of people around the world and how they live their lives. Six children from Gamma describe how their journey of discovery has taken them from celebrating festivals around the world to learning how to express opinions, feelings, nature, culture, beliefs and values.



Gamma班本单元的主题是庆典,孩子们学习了许多世界各地节日的来历及庆祝方式,除此之外,还探究了许多世界各地人们的文化习俗以及他们的生活方式。Gamma派出6位代表介绍他们的探究之旅是如何从世界各地的节日庆典深入到学习如何表达观点、情感、大自然、文化、信仰与价值观。

By the end of this energetic performance, we had been able to see PIEP inquirers demonstrating the inquisitive, courageous and well-rounded IB attributes of the IB learner with their enthusiasm, creativity and self-belief, inspired by the IB PYP Inquiry Programme. This is not only a performance to summarize the inquiry but also a wonderful mark of the children's growth.



当这一充满活力的演出落下帷幕时,我们已经能够看到,PIEP的IB小小探究者们,在IB PYP探究课程的启发下,以热情、创造力和自信心,很好地展示了国际文凭学习者的善于探究、勇于尝试和全面发展的IB特质,这不仅是一场探究总结的结题演出,更是让我们看到孩子们茁壮成长的美妙印记。
