喜讯 | ASJ中学部学子在商业竞赛中获逾30项奖项!

近日,广州暨大港澳子弟学校(ASJ)中学部学生在2024年度BPA全真商业实践研习、NEC(National Economics Challenge)全美经济学挑战赛初阶站中表现优异,分别有14位和20位学生获得奖项荣誉认证,晋级下一阶段的比赛。





这次学生们在BPA和NEC比赛中的成绩离不开参赛学生们的努力和毅力,更得益于经济学科组老师们的悉心指导和学校的大力支持。老师们在平时的授课中不仅为学生提供了丰富的HKDSE经济科知识,更是开拓了学生的经济学思维,培养了创新意识和团队合作能力。同时,学校为学生们提供了优秀的学习环境和资源,让ASJ学子们有了更多展示自我的舞台。


BPA全真商业实践研习

BPA(Business Professionals of America)商业全能学术活动是被美国教育部(USED)和生涯规划教育协会(CTSO)官方认证,获得美国教育部官方认证和中学校长联盟推荐的一项针对商业素养的全球中学生商业学术活动。



BPA是极具影响力的综合性全真商业实践研习活动。BPA通过真实行业课题、多元实践项目体验、严谨的学科知识体系、同好朋辈交流,为同学们提供链接真实商业世界、链接学界业界菁英网络,培养中学生全球化的商业思维、视野与综合素养,提升学生的领导力、专业职业素养和真实商业问题分析与解决的能力,帮助学生探索多种可能性的专业方向以及人生选择。


BPA提供符合国际公认行业标准及系统领导力培养路径的商业和信息技术教育,并与微软、惠普、Adobe等国际500强企业合作,其“真实、有趣、学术”的活动特点深受学生追捧。自1966年成立以来,BPA获得CTSO生涯规划教育协会认证,每年参与学生超45000名。


NEC全美经济学挑战赛


NEC(National Economics Challenge)全美经济学挑战,是SKT财商经素养研习社系列活动之一。自2000年以来,该活动每年拥有超过 20,000 名经济学青年参与其中。截至目前,NEC已覆盖全国400余所学校,数千名财商学子从中受益。NEC的学术价值和学生在其间展现的学术能力,在华尔街知名金融机构和全球知名大学中备受赞誉。



NEC 旨在通过多元丰富的研习项目体验、链接真实世界的活动体验、同好同频的朋辈交流,激发学生对经济学领域的兴趣,培养数据分析能力、审辨思维、理性决策力、问题解决能力,解决真实世界问题,塑造未来无限可能。NEC是经济学子一年一度的学术盛会,亦是未来政商财经菁英的摇篮。

对于此次获奖。我首先感谢给予我们指导的Kaen樊老师,以及与我的队友们。Kaen老师是我们计划的灵感出处,在万事伊始,毫无头绪一筹莫展之时,是Kaen老师给予了我们思维的明灯与技术指导。如果说Kaen老师是驱散迷雾的执灯者,那么一路坚持,不惧挫败的队友们便是雄鹰高飞的羽翼。在准备作品期间是队友坚定的信念与辛劳的工作使整个团队重新焕发了生机,使我们重新拥有继续的信心,终而获奖。我诚挚地感谢队友们凌晨三点的陪伴,与你们并肩作战是我的荣幸。


最后,一起期待对未来中国站比赛的期待吧。“山脚太拥挤,我们更高处见!”

Recently, ASJ High School students excelled in the preliminary stations of Business Professionals of America, The National Economics Challenge 2024, with 14 and 20 students earning the award's honourable mentions and advancing to the next stage of the competition, respectively.





BPA全真商业实践研习

Business Professionals of America is officially accredited by the U.S. Department of Education (USED) and the Career Training and Teaching Organization (CTSO), and is officially certified by the U.S. Department of Education and recommended by the Alliance of Secondary School Principals as a global business academic programme for secondary school students targeting business literacy.



BPA is a highly influential and comprehensive business practice activity, which provides students with links to the real business world and the elite network of academia and industry through real industry topics, diversified practical project experiences, rigorous disciplinary knowledge system, and peer exchanges, so as to cultivate secondary school students' global business mindset, vision, and comprehensive literacy, and to enhance their leadership, professionalism, and ability of analysing and solving real business problems. It also enhances students' leadership, professionalism and real-life business problem-solving skills, and helps them explore a wide range of possible career paths and life choices.


NEC全美经济学挑战赛


The National Economics Challenge is one of the series of events organised by the SKT Finance, Business and Economics Literacy Institute. Since 2000, more than 20,000 young economists have participated in the event every year. To date, NEC has reached more than 400 schools nationwide, benefiting thousands of finance and business students, and is highly regarded by Wall Street financial institutions and leading universities around the world for its academic value and the academic skills demonstrated by students during the event.



NEC aims to stimulate students' interest in the field of economics through diversified and rich study programmes, real-world activities and peer-to-peer exchanges, and to cultivate students' abilities in data analysis, critical thinking, rational decision-making and problem-solving, so as to solve real-world problems and shape unlimited possibilities for the future.NEC is an annual academic event for students of economics, and the cradle of the future political, business and financial elites. I would like to thank Mr Kaen Fan and my teammates for this award. Firstly, I would like to thank Mr Kaen Fan and my teammates for their guidance, Mr Kaen was the inspiration for our project, and at the beginning of the project, when we had no idea what to do, it was Mr Kaen who gave us the light of thought and technical guidance. If Mr Kaen is the light-bearer who disperses the fog, then our teammates who persevered all the way and were not afraid of setbacks are the wings of the eagle flying high. It was the teammates' strong belief and hard work during the preparation of the project that revitalised the whole team and gave us the confidence to go on and finally win the award. I sincerely thank my teammates for being there at 3am, it was an honour to work alongside you.

Through this BPA competition I felt the inspiring team spirit, even though we encountered different difficulties during the process, such as different opinions, division of labour and time problems, we overcame the difficulties and cooperated with each other. Congratulations to the students in the competition to get good results, in the guidance process, I found each student's strengths, in the process of playing the students' imagination, in the theoretical knowledge to guide the students to summarise. I believe that students in this process has benefited a lot, the school and teachers hope that students in the subsequent competition to achieve satisfactory results, cheers.





The competitions were very tight and challenging, requiring students to have both a solid theoretical foundation and the ability to flexibly apply their economic knowledge.ASJ students overcame the difficulties and challenges, gave play to their unique and innovative thinking and specialised knowledge of economic disciplines, and cooperated with their teammates to perform well, and eventually gained leaps and bounds of progress and achievements in the two competitions.
