The current semester's CAS program at AIC is vigorously underway, featuring a rich lineup of activities tailored to cultivate the unique abilities and enthusiasms of each student. Participants are diving into a varied and enriching schedule, advancing their capabilities, enlarging their understanding, and fostering an appreciation for the essence of collaborative effort.

创造性活动 Creativity

艺术与手工：中国画、邮票制作、交叉针绣、艺术与工艺等，让学生们在美术和手工艺中发挥创造力。

Art and Crafts: Chinese painting, stamp making, cross-stitch, arts and crafts, etc., allow students to unleash their creativity in art and handicrafts.

音乐与舞蹈：Hip-hop舞蹈、音乐俱乐部等，通过音乐和舞蹈表达自己，享受艺术的魅力。

Music and Dance: Hip-hop dance, music club, etc., express oneself through music and dance to enjoy the charm of the arts.

写作与出版：学校杂志编辑，提升写作和编辑技能，实践出版流程。

Writing and Publishing: School magazine editing, enhancing writing and editing skills, and experiencing the publishing process.

中国画是文化和艺术的完美结合。学生们通过握笔、运墨、作画，学习到了中国传统绘画的精髓，这不仅是对艺术技巧的培养，也是对中华文化深厚底蕴的一次探索。

The Chinese painting is a perfect blend of culture and art. Through holding the brush, manipulating the ink, and creating art, students learn the essence of traditional Chinese painting. This is not only a cultivation of artistic skills but also an exploration of the profound cultural heritage of China.

Hip-hop舞蹈充满了活力，它不仅教给学生们动感的舞蹈步伐，更在强调节奏感、身体协调性和表现力的同时，提升了他们的自信心和社交能力。

The hip-hop dance activity is full of energy. It not only teaches students dynamic dance steps but also, by emphasizing rhythm, coordination, and expressiveness, boosts their confidence and social skills.

中国文化俱乐部提供了一个探索中国传统和现代文化的平台。学生们不仅学习了中国历史和哲学，还通过活动和讨论，培养了对文化多样性的欣赏和尊重。

The Chinese Culture Club offers a platform for exploring both traditional and contemporary Chinese culture. Students not only learn about Chinese history and philosophy but also cultivate an appreciation and respect for cultural diversity through activities and discussions.

运动训练与技能：羽毛球、排球、篮球、网球、拳击、击剑、滑板等，提升体育技能，加强体能训练。

Sports Training and Skills: Badminton, Volleyball, Basketball, Tennis, Boxing, Fencing, Skateboarding, etc., enhance sports skills and strengthen physical training.

健身活动：通过专业的健身课程，加强体质，增进健康。

Fitness Activities: Strengthen physique and improve health through professional fitness courses.

探索与实践：如机器人课程，学生们可以通过动手操作和编程来学习STEM相关的知识。

在Leo与William老师的带领下，学生们不仅锻炼了身体，提高了对羽毛球的技术理解和运动策略，更学习到了如何在压力下保持冷静，以及如何在竞技运动中发展团队协作精神。

Under the guidance of teachers Leo and William, students not only exercised their bodies and improved their technical understanding and strategic approach to badminton, but they also learned how to remain calm under pressure and how to develop a spirit of teamwork in competitive sports.

本学期新引入的拳击课程，旨在教授学生如何在安全的环境下发泄和控制力量，同时也是一次自我约束和心理韧性的锻炼。为了确保学生能够获得全面的学习体验，我们特别聘请了专业的教练进行指导。这项CAS活动的新增，不仅让学生们学会了拳击的技巧，更传授了他们专注、决心以及面对挑战的能力等重要的生活技能。这证明了我们致力于提供多样化且丰富的体验，以促进学生的全面发展。

The boxing course introduced this term teaches students how to channel and control their strength within a safe environment, offering an experience of self-discipline and mental resilience. To ensure a comprehensive learning experience, we've engaged professional coaches to instruct our students. This addition to our CAS activities not only equips them with the physical techniques of boxing but also imparts valuable life skills such as focus, determination, and the ability to face challenges head-on. It's a testament to our commitment to providing diverse and enriching experiences that cater to the holistic development of our students.

机器人项目让学生们亲手创造和编程，这不仅是对科学和工程学的一次实践，也激发了他们的创新精神和解决问题的能力。

The robotics project allows students to create and program by themselves, which is not only a practice in science and engineering but also inspires their spirit of innovation and problem-solving abilities.
