本次两文三语演讲比赛，学子以“华夏寄语”为主题，用敏锐的眼光抒青春寄语，妙笔书写庆华夏盛世。

学子分别用粤语、普通话、英语分享自身对历史江河奔腾不息的感受，他们从不同角度祝贺祖国75岁华诞。通过三文两语演讲比赛，引导学生关注国家发展，进一步了解中华传统优秀文化。

5月22日，为进一步提升学生语言能力和国际视野，增进内地港澳子弟学校与香港学校之间的交流和学习，ASJ师生前往中国香港，与香港拔萃女书院和香港浸信会吕明才小学的学生开展以“华夏寄语”为主题的2024紫荆花节——两文三语演讲友谊赛及学术交流活动。

以诗会友，5月16日，ASJ紫荆花节系列活动之中学部“暨“情诗会圆满落幕，学子们通过诗词见天地、见众生、见自己，一路有诗意相伴。

比赛以队制的方式进行，四队队伍均由G8-G10的同学组成。赛事分为必答题、“比手画脚”猜诗句、诗歌朗诵和抢答题四个环节，观众们都沉浸沐浴在古雅的氛围下。

4月，ASJ小学部语文组木棉杯活动在木棉花盛开的季节，拉开了序幕。

在以“两文三语”为指导的教学中，我们鼓励学生在平时的学习中使用粤语，推广繁体字的使用。本次比赛，学生自由选择使用简体字或繁体字参加比赛。我们希望学生能够更加自信地表达自己，增强他们的跨文化交流能力，激发学生对语言学习的兴趣，培养他们的批判性思维和创造力，这些都是IB培养者目标中的重要方面，如“探究者”（Inquirers）和“富有同情心的人”（Caring）。

青春灿若繁花，未来璀璨如歌。5月30日，中学部学子在青春的旋律中放声歌唱，为我们带来了一场精彩纷呈的外文音乐盛宴。

墨浓淡，方寸之间，展示少年“英”姿。英语书法笔记比赛旨在提高学生英语书写水平，让学生感受到英语书写的乐趣与魅力，为同学们提供一个展示自我的舞台。

This Biliterate and Trilingual speech contest, students to "Huaxia message" as the theme.

The students shared their own feelings about the rushing river of history in Cantonese, Putonghua and English respectively, and they congratulated the 75th birthday of the motherland from different perspectives. Through the Trilingual and Biliterate Speech Contest, students were guided to pay attention to the development of the country.

On May 16, the ASJ Bauhinia Festival series concluded with the Middle School Poetry Competition.

In April, the ASJ Elementary School Language Team's Kapok Cup kicked off the season with the blooming of the kapok flower.

Under the guidance of "Biliteracy and Trilingualism", we encourage students to use Cantonese in their studies and promote the use of traditional Chinese characters. In this competition, students are free to choose to use either simplified or traditional characters to participate in the competition. We hope that students will be able to express themselves more confidently and develop their critical thinking and creativity, which are important aspects of the goals of IB developers such as Inquirers and Caring.

On May 30th, the Middle School students brought us a wonderful feast of music in a foreign language.

In order to enrich the campus cultural life of students and create a vibrant language and cultural atmosphere, the Secondary Section organized the first " Chill Land" Bauhinia Festival Foreign Language Singing Competition, aiming at encouraging more students to give full play to and utilize their strengths and talents.

Writing as one of the important aspects of English learning, English writing competition aims to cultivate students' interest in English writing, enable them to have a good English writing experience, and build up their confidence in learning English well, which provides motivation for the lasting learning and development of English.

The English Calligraphy Notes Competition aims to improve students' English writing level, let students feel the fun and charm of English writing, and provide a stage for students to show themselves.
