近日，广州市斐特思学校举办了一场意义重大的捐赠仪式。家委会主席王先生代表其投资公司（目乐医疗）向学校赠送了一份特别的礼物——自助式双目视力筛选仪。此举旨在共同关注并保护学生的视力健康，为他们的未来保驾护航。

Recently, a significant donation ceremony took place at Fettes College Guangzhou. Mr Wang, the Chairman of the Parent Committee, represented his investment company, Mocular Medical, in presenting the school with a special gift—a CVS X Vision Screening Instrument. This initiative aims to jointly focus on and protect students' vision health, ensuring their future well-being.

王先生感慨道：“身为家长，看到孩子们在学业和生活中面临视力问题，我深感忧虑。保护学生的视力至关重要，这台视力筛选仪将大大提高学生视力筛查的频率和效率。”

Mr Wang remarked, "As a parent, witnessing children facing vision problems in their studies and daily lives deeply concerns me. Protecting students' vision is crucial. This CVS X Vision Screening Instrument will significantly increase the frequency and efficiency of vision screenings for students."

王先生（学生Derek和Carrie的家长）代表公司从中外方总校长手中接过“捐赠证书”，全校师生共同见证了这一温馨时刻。王先生表示：“广州斐特思一直对自身有着高标准、严要求，这台视力检测仪的加入，将使学校在视力保护方面更加科技化、专业化。我们也希望能为孩子们的视力健康贡献一份力量。”

Mr Wang (parent of students Derek and Carrie) received the "Donation Certificate" from the Expat and Chinese Heads of College, with the entire school witnessing this heartwarming moment. Mr Wang stated, "Fettes College Guangzhou has always upheld high standards and strict requirements. The addition of this CVS X Vision Screening Instrument will make the school's vision protection efforts more scientific and professional. We hope to contribute to the vision and health of the children."

The Expat and Chinese Heads of the College expressed sincere gratitude, saying, "This is not just a donation of equipment but also a testament to the importance support parents and the community place on students' vision health. Mr Wang elaborated on the donated equipment, "This CVS X Vision Screening Instrument screening device is a leader in the current vision screening field, representing cutting-edge technology. It employs intelligent screening technology, allowing self-testing every month. The vision testing process is quick, taking only 3 seconds to complete nine tests, including refraction, strabismus, and astigmatism. Additionally, the accompanying data management system can establish electronic vision records for students, enabling batch automatic data entry and real-time queries, making data management more convenient and efficient."

为了充分发挥自助式双目视力筛选仪的作用，我校全部校医与部分老师均接受了视力自助筛查培训。通过微信小程序、APP等渠道，家长可随时掌握孩子们的视力变化情况。学校将持续建立“近视防控校园”，加强家校沟通与合作，持续追踪学生的视力状况，培养学生的视力保护意识，共同守护孩子们的视力健康。

All school doctors and some teachers have received vision self-screening training to fully utilise the self-service binocular vision screening device. Parents can monitor their children's vision changes at any time through WeChat mini-programs, apps, and other channels. The school will continue building a "Myopia Prevention Campus," enhancing communication and cooperation between home and school, continuously tracking students' vision conditions, raising awareness of vision protection, and jointly safeguarding children's vision health.
