Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong and Macao Students (ASJ) is an international school established under the background of the Greater Bay Area and the Pilot Demonstration Area. It is the first School for Hong Kong and Macao students in the Greater Bay Area under the supervision of a well-known university.
Starting from 2024, ASJ become the first batch in China mainland and the first school in Guangzhou to be the "Participating School" and Pilot Examination Centre of the HKDSE.
ASJ has also obtained the qualification of School Nominations Direct Admission Scheme from eight public universities in Hong Kong (The University of Hong Kong, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, etc.), 138 universities in China Mainland (Tsinghua University, Peking University, Fudan University, etc.), as well as the "School Principal's Nomination" from universities in Hong Kong and Macao, such as Hong Kong Hang Seng University, University of St. Francis, Hong Kong Tung Wah College, and Chu Hai College of Higher Education in Hong Kong.
In June 2024, ASJ-GZ's G12 Lai was guaranteed a place in HKU's ace program and G12 Tsui was guaranteed a place in CUHK's ace program through the SNDAS.
