In the recently released 2024 HKPEP Guangdong International Schools Ranking in Education Competitiveness, Fettes College Guangzhou (FCG) has progressed to be the top among Guangzhou private international schools with its prominent levels of educational satisfaction and recognition of its educational philosophy! Since its establishment, FCG has been committed to pursuing excellence with its students. FCG brings together outstanding education talents from various English-speaking countries around the world. All Chinese and foreign teachers have obtained domestic or international teaching qualifications, with over 52% having master's or doctoral degrees while the proportion of high school teachers with master's or doctoral degrees is 100%. Over 60% of teachers have teaching or studying abroad experiences in two or more countries. By inheriting the British boarding tradition and establishing a humanistic care mentor system, teachers' diverse educational backgrounds and rich international teaching experience seep into students' daily learning life to create a positive and happy learning community through implicit education.

Various international certifications are also the recognition of the educational quality of FCG: such as Cambridge School for IGCSE and A-level qualifications; IB PYP and IB MYP certifications from the International Baccalaureate Organization; Council of British International Schools (COBIS) high level accreditation (currently only 5 in the mainland of China); Member of Boarding Schools Association (BSA). FCG is implementing the teaching strategies for English as an Additional Language (EAL) in accordance with the international standard of Accreditation by Language for Results International (ALFRI) and is continuing to move towards the Apple Distinguished School.

This year marks the first year of fruitful harvest for FCG senior high school: in the good news of our first batch of graduates' admissions, we are not only delighted by their acceptance into prestigious universities such as Oxford and Cambridge, meanwhile 100% of students being admitted to top 25 universities according to QS rankings; but also proud to have nurtured outstanding talents who excel in academic, artistic, sports and character. FCG has always encouraged students to continuously explore their interests and chase their dreams: during this year's application season, students have demonstrated a highly diverse range of professional choices, covering various fields including advanced Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analysis, Mathematics, Physics, Music, and Interior Design. FCG has established multiple scholarships to encourage students to pursue excellence: it is expected that 6.96 million RMB will be awarded by 2024. When students receive admission offers from world-class universities and successfully enroll, they will also receive full scholarships provided by FCG for tuition support (approximately 250 thousand USD which over 1.7 million RMB).
