BIS Welcomes the New School Year
As the summer draws to a close, the Britannia International School (BIS) in Guangzhou is buzzing with excitement for the new school year. This summer, our campus underwent a “beautiful transformation,” ensuring everything is ready for the students' return.
Stepping onto the campus, you can feel the fresh, invigorating atmosphere. Every corner has been meticulously cleaned, leaving the school sparkling and inviting.
Teaching tools and toys have been carefully disinfected and sun-dried, ensuring a healthy environment for our students. Inside the classrooms, desks and chairs stand polished and ready to welcome eager learners.
This year, BIS is proud to introduce a new professional photography studio and darkroom, providing students with enriching learning opportunities.
Additionally, our updated curriculum wall clearly displays the learning goals for each grade, guiding students as they navigate the seas of knowledge.
Cambridge International Curriculum
Under the leadership of Principal Mr. Mark, our dedicated teaching team is poised and ready. The first group of teachers has already returned to campus, engaging in a series of workshops and learning sessions to prepare for a high-quality educational experience. They are brimming with enthusiasm and look forward to growing alongside their students this year.
On August 16, BIS will host Orientation Day, inviting parents to meet with teachers, explore our educational philosophy, and learn about our plans for the new school year. On August 19, students will embark on their new academic journey as they return for the first day of classes.
