在上周五AIC的国庆主题早集会上,DP2的学生们带来了多样化的精彩表演,充分展现了多元文化的风采。这场集会不仅是一次国庆庆祝,更是学生展示组织能力和领导力的宝贵机会。


活动首先由主持人Ivan和Roy带领大家奏唱国歌,接着播放了一段由学生制作的视频,介绍了各国的国庆文化。主持人还与国际学生和老师互动,询问他们如何庆祝自己的国庆节,进一步加深了大家对不同文化的理解与包容。


At AIC's National Day-themed assembly last Friday, students presented a diverse array of performances that highlighted the beauty of multiculturalism. This assembly was not only a celebration of National Day but also a valuable opportunity for DP2 students to showcase their organizational skills and leadership. The event began with hosts Ivan and Roy leading everyone in singing the national anthem, followed by a student-produced video introducing National Day traditions from various countries. The hosts also engaged with international students and teachers, asking how they celebrate their own national holidays, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of different cultures.







活动亮点之一是一场由DP2的男生们表演的幽默话剧,Zoe同学客串演出, 讲述了学生在考试期间的趣事,诙谐的剧情引发了观众的共鸣和欢笑。


One of the highlights of the event was a humorous skit performed by DP2 boys, with a guest appearance by Zoe. The play depicted amusing stories about students during exam season, and the witty storyline resonated with the audience, sparking plenty of laughter.

In Ivan's speech, he shared his profound reflections on the celebration of National Day, showcasing the diversity of how countries around the world commemorate this occasion. By introducing the national celebration customs of Norway, Haiti, Mexico, and others, Ivan highlighted how each country uniquely expresses its identity, history, and values. He noted that National Day often goes beyond mere remembrance, serving as a cultural moment for unity, reflection, and pride.

When discussing China’s National Day, Ivan placed it within the broader context of global National Day cultures, guiding students to think deeply about the symbolic significance of this celebration. He illustrated how National Day serves as a symbol of independence, unity, and resilience, yet each country commemorates it differently. This perspective encourages students to respect their own cultural heritage while also appreciating and understanding others. Gabrielle、Bella、Cindy、Chloe、Stella、Asha、Pianpian和Ivy同学带领大家进行了一系列互动游戏“Musical Chairs”音乐椅游戏, 为集会带来了特别的互动体验。互动游戏是各国庆典活动中常见的娱乐方式。游戏中,师生们围绕椅子相互竞争,充满欢乐与笑声,为整个集会增添了轻松愉快的氛围AIC作为一所国际学校,汇聚了来自世界各地、拥有不同文化背景的学生。通过这样的互动游戏,AIC的国庆集会实现了真正意义上的“多元共庆”。在音乐声中,不同文化背景的学生们在中国国庆的节日氛围下共同参与,彼此拉近距离,加深了对彼此文化的理解。音乐椅游戏不仅仅是一种娱乐活动,它让来自各国的师生在共同的欢乐中交流互动,使AIC的国庆庆祝成为一个超越国界的多元文化盛会,充分展现了学校在国际教育中的包容与融合。


After the performance, Gabrielle, Bella, Cindy, Chloe, Stella, Asha, Pianpian, and Ivy led everyone in a series of interactive games, including “Musical Chairs,” which added a unique interactive experience to the assembly. Interactive games are a common form of entertainment at celebrations in many countries. In this game, students and teachers competed around the chairs, filling the assembly with joy and laughter, creating a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere. 


As an international school, AIC brings together students from diverse cultural backgrounds across the globe. Through such interactive games, AIC’s National Day assembly achieved a true sense of multicultural celebration. With music playing, students of various backgrounds joined together in the spirit of China’s National Day, bridging distances and deepening mutual understanding. More than just an entertainment activity, Musical Chairs fostered engagement and interaction between teachers and students from different countries, transforming AIC’s National Day celebration into a multicultural event that transcends borders, fully embodying the school’s commitment to inclusivity and unity in international education.




活动尾声,DP2的学生与他们的Mentor Jane老师一起合唱了一首《See You Again》,为集会增添了温馨的气氛。开学首场的早集会活跃了国庆的节日氛围,也进一步体现了作为国际教育先驱的包容性,鼓励学生们在多元文化中互相学习、共同成长。


At the end of the assembly, DP2 students, together with their mentor, Ms. Jane, 

performed a heartfelt rendition of See You Again, adding a warm and comforting atmosphere to the assembly. This first morning gathering of the school year not only enlivened the National Day festivities but also reflected AIC’s inclusivity as a pioneer in international education, encouraging students to learn from one another and grow together within a diverse cultural environment.
