As a student of Huawai, the most anticipated thing after the new semester is the start of elective courses. We seem to have opened the door to the multiverse. It is no longer Chinese, maths, and English, but instead a rich and colorful curriculum with distinctive features. From programming to art, from scientific experiments to classic Chinese studies, every course is like a new world waiting for us to explore and experience. Here, we are no longer passive recipients, but active learners who choose their own knowledge treasures based on their interests and strengths.

华外CEP小学实施中外融合的1+X课程体系（国家课程 + 必修特色课程 + 选修课程），为学生提供广阔的学习平台。学校共开设了309多门个性化选修课，课程涵盖“阳光体育”“科技创新”“艺术美学”“优能素养”“劳动实践”“个性化优选课程”等六大板块，全面覆盖学生多样化的成长需求。这些课程既能满足不同方向和层次的学习发展，也能激发学生的兴趣爱好，帮助他们发现并拓展自己的优势领域，培养综合素养与多元才能。

Huawai CEP Primary School implements “1+X” curriculum system that integrates Chinese and foreign elements (national curriculum + compulsory characteristic courses + elective courses), providing students with a broad learning platform. The school has offered more than 309 personalized elective courses, covering six major areas including "Sunshine Sports", "Technological Innovation", "Art Aesthetics", "Excellent Ability and Literacy", "Labor Practice", and "Personalized Optimal Courses", comprehensively covering the diverse growth needs of students. Riding a horse on the equestrian field, students feel the wind rushing past, and in that moment, seemed to merge with nature, letting go of all worries.

In fencing class, each match brings a sense of challenge and excitement, helping me improve my reaction time and psychological resilience.

Through team sports like basketball and soccer, students learned the importance of collaboration and communication, realizing the power of a team is infinite. Physical education courses such as martial arts, aerobics, swimming, badminton, jump rope, and American football not only keep me fit but also bring the joy and challenge of sports.

The Information Technology and Programming course is one of the students' favourite courses.Here, students learnt how to weave their dreams with code and create their own applets or games. There are no words to describe the sense of achievement whenever they see their work running up on the screen. This course not only allows students to master programming skills, understand the importance of technology and innovation, and stimulate curiosity and exploration of the unknown world.

生命科学课程真的太有趣了！

每次上课，同学们好像进入了一个神奇的科学世界。从了解植物如何生长，到观察小动物的孵化过程，再到认识身体结构，一切都让同学们感到惊奇。老师还教同学们如何照顾身体，学习医学常识，甚至还能做一些有趣的实验，像科学家一样动手操作。

通过这些实验，让同学们明白生命的宝贵，学会怎么用科学的眼光去发现和解决生活中的问题。这门课让同学们对生命科学充满了好奇和热情！

Life science classes are so much fun! Every class, we are like entering a magical world of science. From learning how plants grow, to watching small animals hatch, to understanding our own body structure, everything is amazing. The teacher also taught us how to take care of our bodies, learn medical knowledge, and even do some interesting experiments and operate like a scientist. Through these experiments, we not only understand the value of life, but also learn how to use the scientific vision to discover and solve the problems in life. This course really made us curious and enthusiastic about life science!

《美食烹饪小能手》课程真的超级好玩！

同学们在课堂上不但可以学到怎么做各种美食，还能自己动手，变身小厨师！每节课都有不同的主题，像做家常菜或者尝试国外的美食，听起来就很有趣！最棒的是，同学们会分成小组一起做饭，一边合作一边分享劳动成果。吃到自己做的食物，真是太开心了！除了做饭，同学们还听到很多有趣的饮食文化故事。这门课不仅让同学们学会了做饭，学会如何与别人合作！

The course A Little Mater of Gourmet Cooking is really fun! Not only do we get to learn how to make all kinds of food in the class, but we also get to do it ourselves and turn into little chefs! Each class has a different theme, like making home-cooked food or trying out foreign cuisines, which sounds super interesting! The teacher will also use a large screen to teach us how to do it, with clear steps and all tools and ingredients prepared, allowing us to operate with confidence. The best part was that we would split up into small groups to cook together, sharing the fruits of our labor while working together, and it was so much fun to eat the food we made! Besides cooking, we also heard a lot of interesting stories about food culture. This class not only taught us how to cook, but also how to work with others, so I look forward to every class!

每当下课铃响起，同学们都会奔向最爱的校队活动。CEP双语小学总共有45个校队，718个同学，在美术、信息技术、科学、音乐、体育等各大领域挥洒热情。自由选择自己感兴趣的项目，和志同道合的伙伴们一起进步。

Whenever the school bell rings, my friends and I run to our favorite school team activity - this is our highlight moment. There are a total of 45 varsity teams in the school, with 718 students like us, who are passionate about art, IT, science, music, sports and other major fields. We are free to choose the programs we are interested in and progress with like-minded partners.

The teachers use heuristic teaching methods to guide us, making the class always full of vitality. Courses such as Chinese, mathematics, and English were also integrated into training, which not only make me stronger on the sports field but also greatly improve my academic performance. Through interactive discussions and group collaborations, I increasingly confidently express my own ideas and grew together with my teammates.

Here, everyone can find their own stage to show their talents. Huawai is really ‘spoiling’ us with actions.
