由黄唯理教授主持的《中国画里的故事》讲座，带领我们领略中国画书画同源的独特魅力。从古代壁画到山水画、从人文画到工匠画，黄唯理教授与学生们遨游在历史长河间的中国画，触摸时间的印记。

The lecture ‘Stories in Chinese Painting’ hosted by Professor Weili Huang led us to appreciate the unique charm of Chinese painting and calligraphy. From ancient murals to landscape paintings, from humanistic paintings to artisanal paintings, Professor Huang Weili and the students travelled through the long history of Chinese paintings and touched the marks of time.

中国画是一个丰富的艺术体系，包含人文画、山水画等多种类型：人文画注重借物抒情，表达文人的精神境界；山水画展现山水之美与画家心境。黄唯理教授梳理古今中国画，阐述笔墨之下承载的中华文化内涵。

Chinese painting is a rich art system, including humanistic painting, landscape painting and other types: humanistic painting focuses on the expression of emotions through objects, expressing the spiritual realm of the literati; landscape painting shows the beauty of the landscape and the painter's state of mind. Professor Weili Huang combed through ancient and modern Chinese paintings and elaborated on the Chinese cultural connotations carried underneath the brush and ink.

Professor Weili Huang explained the stories of famous Chinese paintings from different dynasties, such as Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains, Han Xizai's Night Banquet, A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains and Along the River During the Qingming Festival, etc. The students listened attentively and appreciated them as if they were immersed in the stories behind the Chinese paintings, and were fascinated by them.

“秋风萧瑟天气凉，草木摇落露为霜。”十月秋风起，王增丰教授携着《中国本土雕塑及制作》讲座走进 ASJ 校园。王增丰教授讲座内容如其作品一般：别出心裁，不拘一格地大胆夸张，让学生分外喜欢。

‘The weather is cool in autumn, the grass and trees are shaken down and the dew is frost.’ As the autumn breeze picked up in October, Professor Wang Zengfeng came to ASJ campus with his lecture on ‘Local Chinese Sculpture and Production’. The content of Professor Wang's lecture was just like his works: original, unconventional, bold and exaggerated, which was very popular among students.

讲座伊始，王增丰教授带领学生们一同欣赏从新石器时期到近现代的各类雕塑作品，讲述着不同朝代雕塑风格的变化与发展，或是不同民族的精神文化与情感表达。

At the beginning of the lecture, Prof Wang Zengfeng led the students to appreciate all kinds of sculptures from the Neolithic period to modern times, telling the changes and development of sculpture styles in different dynasties, or the spiritual culture and emotional expression of different peoples.

王增丰教授以简洁传神的讲课方式，表现出幽默、和蔼的课堂氛围，将学生带入一种浓郁的民族文化氛围之中。讲座后段王增丰教授演示雕塑制作与介绍相应基本技法，鼓励并带动同学们一起体验这项传承文化。

Professor Wang Zengfeng's concise and evocative way of lecturing demonstrated a humorous and amiable classroom atmosphere, which brought students into a rich national culture atmosphere. In the latter part of the lecture, Prof Wang Zengfeng demonstrated sculpture production and introduced the corresponding basic techniques, encouraging and motivating students to experience this heritage culture together.

“公益美育”进课堂已经在我校走过了三年，这三年的学习中，打破了传统教育仅重视课本知识传授的局限，让学生在美育课堂可以充分发挥想象力和创造力，并通过艺术表达情感、缓解学习压力。

The ‘Aesthetic Education for the Public Good’ has been in our school for three years. During these three years of learning, we have broken the limitations of traditional education which only focuses on the teaching of textbook knowledge, so that students can give full play to their imagination and creativity in the aesthetic education classroom and express their emotions through art to alleviate the pressure of learning.
