誉德莱增城: CIS新一轮再认证开始,国际教育的卓越之选

When it comes to third-party accreditation, one of the authoritative and influential international school accreditation bodies that must be mentioned is CIS (Federation of International Schools). The organization accredits 740+ schools in 123 countries around the world, as well as a number of universities and colleges, which makes accreditation difficult and prestigious.

CIS International Accreditation is a mark of quality assurance and distinction for primary and secondary schools. Universities worldwide seek out students educated at CIS-Internationally Accredited schools due to the high quality of their international education, the rigour of their academic programmes, their intercultural experiences and insights, and their preparation to live and work in a globally connected world.

UISZ is one of the few schools to have received CIS accreditation. This wednesday, UISZ successfully completed a re-accreditation preparation visit by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). This visit was not merely a procedural step but a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to educational excellence and continuous improvement. Over the span of three intensive days, we welcomed a visiting team that comprised seasoned educators and experts from both CIS and WASC.

UISZ是为数不多的获得CIS认证的学校之一,本周三UISZ成功地完成了新一轮的国际学校理事会(CIS)和西部学校与学院协会(WASC)对我校的再认证预备访问。这次访问不仅仅是一个程序性步骤,更是我们持续致力于卓越教育和持续改进的重要里程碑。在为期三天的紧张访问中,我们迎来了由来自 CIS 和 WASC 的资深教育工作者和专家组成的访问小组。

The visiting team engaged in a comprehensive review of our educational practices, organizational structure, purpose, and directional goals. They meticulously visited classrooms, observing lessons and interactions between teachers and students. These observations were coupled with in-depth interviews and discussions with students, parents, teachers, and members of our school board. The aim was to gain a holistic understanding of our school's operations and assess how well we align with the rigorous standards set by CIS and WASC.

访问小组全面考察了我们的教育实践活动、组织结构、宗旨和方向目标。他们细致地参观了教室,观察了课堂教学和师生之间的互动。在观察的同时,他们还与学生、家长、教师和校董会成员进行了深入的访谈和讨论;目的是全面了解我校的运作情况,并评估我校在多大程度上符合 CIS 和 WASC 制定的严格标准。


The entire process was a profoundly positive experience, reinforcing our belief in the quality of education we provide and the strength of our community. We eagerly anticipate the feedback from the accrediting organizations in the coming months, as it will guide us further in refining our practices and achieving our vision for excellence.

整个过程是一次非常积极的经历,增强了我们对教育质量和社区实力的信心。我们热切期待评审机构在未来几个月内给出反馈意见,因为这将指导我们进一步完善我们的日常工作,实现我们追求卓越的愿景。

This preparatory visit highlights the collective efforts and collaboration of all our school members. We extend our sincere gratitude to each member,  and look forward to our continued relentless dedication to our shared responsibilities.
