The Year 1 children, like intrepid little adventurers, stepped into the Lingnan Impression Park, brimming with charm, during the thematic exploration of “What Time and Space Are We In?”.

Within the Lingnan Impression Park, they weaved their way among ancient structures such as the oyster shell walls, Manchurian window houses, and palace lantern pavilions. Through meticulous observation and comparison, they grasped the unique allure of Lingnan's traditional architecture. The narrow doors and lofty houses, along with the wok-ear-shaped high walls, seemed to recount the history and culture of Lingnan. They also delved deeply into the evolution of the local human history and comprehended the 传承 of family core values over the passage of time
观赏南方民俗舞狮表演及粤剧表演时,孩子们的眼中闪烁着好奇与惊喜的光芒,在精彩的表演中感受着当地文化的传承与精髓。
While watching the Southern Folklore Lion Dance and Cantonese Opera performances, the children's eyes twinkled with curiosity and astonishment, and they sensed the heritage and essence of the local culture within the splendid shows.
互动体验和非遗手工体验活动更是让孩子们兴奋不已,他们亲手制作岭南剪纸、非遗漆扇,体验扎染的奇妙,在实践中触摸传统文化的温度。
The interactive and intangible cultural heritage handicraft experiences further exhilarated the children. They crafted Lingnan paper-cuts and intangible cultural heritage lacquer fans with their own hands, savoured the wonder of tie-dyeing, and felt the warmth of traditional culture in practice.

In the “Fairy Tale of the Rainforest” adventure, the children seemed to be immersed in a dreamlike tropical rainforest; in the “Giraffe Square”, they engaged in close interactions with the gentle giraffes; in the “Koala Garden”, they quietly observed the laid-back lives of the koalas; in the “Asian Elephant Park”, they were awestruck by the colossal size of the elephants; and in the “Panda Paradise”, the adorable giant pandas elicited bouts of laughter and adoration from the children.

The Year 3 children were greeted with a challenging and captivating “Drama Masterclass”, which introduced high-quality educational resources onto the campus and initiated a unique artistic odyssey within the school premises.
经验丰富的朱丽如(Janet Zhu)老师为孩子们精心挑选了《雾都孤儿》中的一个片段进行排演,这个片段与年级单元主题高度契合。
The seasoned teacher, Janet Zhu, meticulously selected a segment from “Oliver Twist” for the children to rehearse, which was highly congruent with the theme of the year unit.
Janet 老师(左一)曾于法国 Philippe Gaulier 国际戏剧学校学习,并参加日本铃木忠志演员训练,她将丰富的专业知识和独特的教学方法带入课堂。

During the rehearsal process, the children were wholeheartedly dedicated. Under the teacher's tutelage, they thoroughly analysed the character traits and emotional fluctuations of the roles and endeavoured to interpret the classic with their own insights and performances. From the interpretation of the lines to the modulation of expressions, from the choreography of body movements to the arrangement of stage positions, every detail was infused with the children's painstaking efforts and perspiration.

This school drama activity enabled the children to express themselves and unearth their potential. During the performance, the children's expressiveness and self-confidence were enhanced, they learned to collaborate as a team, accomplished a remarkable performance, and elevated their artistic and literary acumen.
