Fun pottery class

近日，SSAL开展了一场别开生面的趣味陶艺课程活动。这次活动特别邀请了陶艺领域经验丰富、造诣深厚的非物质文化遗产传承人——李师傅担任主讲，由我校A-Level中文课程的张老师协助教学。

Recently, SSAL hosted a unique and engaging pottery class. The event featured Master Li, an expert with extensive experience and profound knowledge in pottery, as well as a recognized inheritor of intangible cultural heritage. The course was co-taught with the assistance of Teacher Zhang from our school’s Chinese program.

上课铃声响起，同学们怀着好奇的心情走进课堂，认真聆听李老师的讲解，学习陶艺技巧，并亲手制作自己喜爱的陶艺动物。他们用心捏揉、塑形，充分发挥自己的想象力和创造力。

As the school bell rang, students entered the classroom with curiosity, attentively listening to Teacher Li’s explanations, learning pottery techniques, and crafting their favorite pottery animals. They carefully kneaded, shaped, and unleashed their imagination and creativity.

整个活动现场洋溢着欢乐和温馨的氛围。同学们互相交流、分享经验，在轻松愉快的环境中度过了美好的时光。

The entire event was filled with joy and warmth. Students exchanged ideas, shared experiences, and enjoyed a wonderful time in a relaxed and cheerful setting.

同学们满怀热情地完成了各自的陶艺动物作品，在制作过程中收获了满满的成就感和满足感。他们不仅体验到了传统手工艺制作的独特乐趣，还锻炼了实践操作能力，激发了无尽的创造力。更为重要的是，同学们亲身感受了非物质文化遗产的独特魅力，对这些珍贵的文化遗产有了更深刻的理解和认同，同时也激发了他们对探索和制作更多传统工艺品的浓厚兴趣。

The students enthusiastically completed their pottery animal creations, gaining a profound sense of accomplishment and satisfaction in the process. They not only experienced the unique joy of crafting traditional handicrafts but also enhanced their practical skills and unleashed boundless creativity. More importantly, the students personally experienced the exceptional charm of intangible cultural heritage, deepened their understanding and appreciation of these invaluable traditions, and developed a keen interest in exploring and creating more traditional crafts.
