近期，我校英语教育成果喜人，我校中学部学子在各项语言类比赛中捷报频传，斩获佳绩，共获得16个奖项。

其中，在IVY CUP常春藤杯2024亚太地区总决选中，获得1金1银6铜5优异奖的好成绩，展现了我校学子在英语交流方面的卓越风采。

在第十八届“阳光之星”青少年英语口语应用能力展示活动全国赛中获得1银2铜的好成绩，为我校增添了荣誉。

IVY CUP常春藤国际语言能力交流展示活动由美国常春藤联盟国际组委会官方组织，针对3-18岁的英语学习爱好者。

作为世界高校联盟组委会，常春藤国际组委会希望通过国际语言能力交流展示活动提高ESL(English as Second Language)地区英语青少年学习者的口语自信，以更国际化的活动制度推动英语学习的专业性提高。

亚太地区总决选获奖选手将有机会参加常春藤盟校学术文化交流论坛及获得由常春藤国际组委会提供的奖金，纪念品等，更有机会获得美国常春藤盟校或其他名校的教授推荐信。此外，优秀视频作品还将有机会被选入IVY EVENTS常春藤全球作品库进行展示、交流学习。

活动旨在响应党中央国务院《关于进一步加强和改进未成年人思想道德建设的若干意见》的号召；促进少年儿童英语教育事业的发展，为国家选拔、培养外语人才，给广大少年儿童提供展示和交流的机会；同时为广大青少年营造良好的英语学习氛围，促进学生学习英语的主动性，激发广大青少年的英语学习热情，提高广大青少年英语水平及与世界沟通的能力。

第十八届“阳光之星”青少年英语口语应用能力展示活动暨第十一届优秀中小学生单词拼读展示活动所有参加总决选的选手均可获得一考双证，选手除了获得本活动的荣誉证书之外，同时将获得由中国智慧工程研究会颁发社会实践证书。

感谢评委老师的认可，感谢对手的激励，更感谢一直以来支持和鼓励我的家人、朋友和老师。这次口语比赛的胜利，对我来说不仅是一份荣誉，更是对未来无限可能的期许。

我会以此为动力，继续磨练我的口语技能，探索更广阔的语言世界，期待在下一个舞台上，用更加流利的英语，讲述更多动人的故事。希望这句话能和大家共鸣：一分耕耘 ，一分收获。

Recently, the results of our English education have been very encouraging. Our secondary school students have won a lot of successes in various language competitions, winning a total of 16 awards.

Among them, they won 1 gold, 1 silver, 6 bronze and 5 merit awards in the IVY CUP 2024 Asia-Pacific Regional Final Competition, which demonstrated the excellence of our students in English communication.

We won 1 silver and 2 bronze medals in the national competition of the 18th ‘Sunshine Star’ Youth English Oral Application Ability Showcase, which added honour to our school.

The IVY CUP Ivy League International Language Proficiency Exchange Showcase is officially organised by the International Organising Committee of the Ivy League in the United States for English language learning enthusiasts aged 3-18.

The winners of the Asia-Pacific Regional Final will have the opportunity to participate in the Ivy League Academic and Cultural Exchange Forum and receive prizes and souvenirs provided by the Ivy League International Organising Committee, as well as the chance to receive letters of recommendation from professors of Ivy League or other prestigious schools in the United States. In addition, outstanding video works will also have the opportunity to be selected into the IVY EVENTS Ivy League global work library for display, exchange and learning.

The 18th ‘Sunshine Star’ Youth English Oral Application Ability Showcase and the 11th Outstanding Primary and Secondary School Students' Word Spelling Showcase All the contestants who participate in the final round will be awarded one test and two certificates. In addition to the honourable certificates of the event, the contestants will also be awarded a social practice certificate by the China Wisdom Engineering Research Association.

I would like to thank the judges and teachers for their recognition, my opponents for their motivation, and more importantly, my family, friends and teachers who have always supported and encouraged me. The victory in this speaking competition is not only an honour for me, but also a promise of unlimited possibilities for the future. I will use this as a motivation to continue to hone my speaking skills and explore the wider world of language, and I look forward to telling more touching stories with more fluent English on the next stage.
