“在地”视域下的创新课程,探究岭南传统建筑的魅力|PIEP IB本土化探究课程亮相CISA年会

2024年12月6日至8日,备受瞩目的中华国际文凭学校协会(CISA)第二届年会在上海圆满落幕。本次年会以“全球教育本土化与未来教育新生态”为主题,汇聚了全国范围内众多卓越的IB学校举办者、管理者、投资者及教育者。

From December 6 to 8, 2024, the highly anticipated 2nd Annual Conference of Chong Wa International Baccalaureate Schools Association (CISA) concluded successfully in Shanghai. With the theme of Localization of Global Education and Future Education Ecosystem, the conference brought together many outstanding IB school organizers, managers, investors and educators across China.



本次年会分会场收到98份学校提案,最后入选了36份,作为其中的一员,PIEP教学团队为来自全国各地上千名IB教育管理者和工作者,分享了PIEP Gamma年级在“在地”视域下的建筑主题探究单元课程实践,为IB Early PYP项目本土化提供了一份真实而宝贵的案例。
The annual conference session received 98 school proposals, and 36 were selected as finalists. As one of them, the PIEP teaching team shared the practice of PIEP Gamma grade's architectural thematic inquiry unit under the perspective of ‘Localization’ with thousands of IB educators from all over the country, providing a real and valuable case study of the localization of the IB Early PYP program.

“建筑”这个大主题,似乎离学龄前儿童的认知很遥远。但同时,“建筑” 是处于“艺术、人文、科学、工程技术” 交界的一门综合学科,我们希望能结合探究、动手、生活实际对孩子们进行建筑启蒙,也能让学科知识在主题探究中真正落地,给孩子创建真实的情境去学习,让他们参与其中,完成自主学习。

“Architecture is a topic that seems to be far from the awareness of preschoolers. But at the same time, ‘architecture’ is a comprehensive discipline at the interdiv of art, humanities, science, and engineering. We hope that we can combine inquiry, hands-on, and real-life practice to enlighten children about architecture, and also let subject knowledge really come down to Earth in thematic inquiry, and create real situations for children to learn, so that they can participate in them and complete independent learning.



IB PYP项目鼓励各个IB学校将自己本土的文化融入到项目中。然而,这种教学方式对老师有更高的要求。IB教师要不仅要读懂IB的项目文件,理解它的话语体系,更需要从孩子的认知和发展特点出发,探索合适的探究方向和资源,才能做到融合、创新,最终将孩子养成为具有世界眼,中国心的未来人才。相信这个实践项目的分享,能为现场的教育同行提供一些借鉴价值的思路与灵感,启发他们在各自的地缘文化中创设更多立足于本土的IB探究课程。


在CISA年会的闭幕大会上,参会的老师也向全场分享, PIEP所分享的岭南文化课程实践给了她很多教学灵感,对他们园所的本土化课程实践有很好的参考价值。


The IB PYP program encourages each IB school to integrate its own local culture into the program. However, this style of teaching demands more from the teachers; IB teachers not only need to read the IB program documents and understand its discourse system but also need to explore the appropriate direction and resources of inquiry from the perspective of children's cognitive and developmental characteristics, in order to achieve integration and innovation and ultimately cultivate our children to become future talents with global eyes and a Chinese mind. It is believed that the sharing of this practical project will provide some valuable ideas and inspiration for the educators on the spot, thereby inspiring them to create more locally based IB inquiry programs in their geo-cultures.

CISA年会作为一个重要的平台,汇聚了IB教育领域的专家学者、实践者和教育工作者。在Early PYP分论坛中24 位优秀的CISA会员学校管理者与课程实践者,聚焦园所卓越领导力、园本化课程建设、探究文化与生态打造等 Early PYP 阶段一系列备受瞩目的教育话题。

The CISA Annual Conference, as an important platform, gathers experts, scholars, practitioners and educators in the field of IB education. In the Early PYP sub-forum, 24 outstanding managers of CISA member schools and curriculum practitioners focused on a series of high-profile educational topics in the Early PYP stage, such as excellent leadership in kindergartens, the construction of kindergarten-based courses, and the creation of an inquiry culture and ecology.



倾囊分享的同时,我们也让PIEP教师走出去,吸收、融合、创新。

While sharing everything they know, PIEP teachers also have many opportunities to absorb, integrate and innovate.




所有外出学习归来的教师也会进行通过工作坊的形式进行经验分享,让这些来自全国各地IB教育工作者的的宝贵经验与想法 “内化”成自己的知识与教学资源储备,促使我们的教师不断提升和改进教学方法,为孩子提供更加优质和多样化的探究课程。

All the teachers who have returned from their studies outside will also share their experiences in the form of workshops, so that the valuable experiences and ideas of these IB educators from all over the country can be "internalized" into their own knowledge and teaching resource reserves, prompting our teachers to continuously improve and refine their teaching methods and provide children with higher-quality and more diversified inquiry courses.

很荣幸能参加2024年CISA第二届年会,今年的大会宗旨是“全球教育本土化与未来教育新生态”。对其中的一个点特别有感触:Teaching for understanding, 值得IB教育者不断去实践。同时深感 IB 课程在中国本土化进程中,需融合多元文化,平衡国际视野与本土根基,探索任重道远。


It's my great honor to participate in the 2nd Annual Conference of CISA 2024 in Shanghai. The theme of this year's conference is "Localization of Global Education and Future Education Ecosystem". I'm particularly touched by one point -Teaching for Understanding, which is worthy of continuous practice by IB educators. Meanwhile, I deeply feel that in the process of localizing the IB curriculum in China, it is necessary to integrate diverse cultures, balance the international perspective with the local foundation, and there is still a long way to go in exploration.
