As part of SSAL's A-Level Physics extension activities, students took on a unique STEM challenge. Guided by their foreign teacher, they applied physics principles and used tools such as cardboard and LEGO to design and construct bridges, ultimately enabling a motorized vehicle to cross successfully. This activity allowed students to experience the power of physics through hands-on practice while sparking creativity and teamwork.

During the construction phase, students carefully considered the load-bearing capacity and structural balance of their bridges, making adjustments and improvements as needed. Despite the challenges, students thoroughly enjoyed the engineering design process.

The highlight of the activity was the motorized vehicle test. Each group tested their bridges to see if they could support the vehicle's smooth crossing. When the motorized vehicle successfully passed over the bridges, the classroom erupted with applause and cheers. This moment was not only a testament to their efforts but also a rewarding experience that demonstrated the integration of theory and practice.
