喜报 | 我校高中部学子在2024加拿大化学测评（初级）载誉归来！
随着岁月的流转，时光的车轮滚滚向前，翻开了崭新篇章。在这辞旧迎新的美好时刻，令人振奋的是，我校在2024年12月传来捷报，我校高中部学子在2024加拿大化学测评（初级）斩获64项奖项，其中包括3项全球铜奖、7项全球优秀奖、3项全国超级金奖和10项全国金奖等。
加拿大化学测评（初级）(The Junior Canadian Chemistry Olympiad，简称 JCCO)，由国际权威化学学术机构加拿大化学学会CIC主办，是加拿大学术性最权威的初级化学测评之一。
该竞赛是为加拿大化学测评（高级）(CCC) 做预选准备，希望更多的学生可以参与其中，并培养对于化学的兴趣。JCCO让更多化学爱好者可以体验化学的魅力和加拿大顶级的化学学术活动。
JCCO化学竞赛作为加拿大著名的化学竞赛之一，享有一定的学术声誉和认可度。它不仅是加拿大化学奥林匹克竞赛（Canadian Chemistry Olympiad，CCO）的全国预选赛，而且成绩优秀者还有机会入选国家队参加国际化学奥林匹克（ICHO）。具有高含金量，适合申请化学、化工、医学、材料、环境等专业。尤其对于中国留学生，获得这类竞赛奖项在申请国外大学的相关专业中可以作为重要的加分项。作为全球六大高中生化学竞赛之一，与CCC UKChO、CCO、阿伏伽德罗化学竞赛等并驾齐驱，其国际声誉不容小觑。
这次荣誉的获得，是对过往辛勤耕耘的甜美回报，同时也是迈向崭新旅程的起始标志。学生们凭借着坚韧不拔的意志与持续不懈的奋斗，在课余时光里沉浸于学术探索，通过无数次的实践与演练，面对复杂难题时展现出了惊人的勇气与坚定不移的毅力。教师团队则如同灯塔，以细腻的关怀与专业的引领，从基础知识的梳理到实战模拟的演练，精准地针对每位学生的薄弱环节设计个性化策略，凭借他们深厚的经验积累和专业知识，为学生们照亮了前行的道路。
通过本次比赛，部分获奖学子被2025年国际化学挑战集训营（RACI）和2025年加拿大化学奥林匹克国家队集训营(CCOCamp)录取，有机会在2025年1月和6月分别前往在北京举行的国际化学挑战集训营和加拿大温哥华英属哥伦比亚大学，参加化学集训营。
在化学集训营中，学子们将接触到前沿的化学理论与技术。他们将通过生动的案例和深入浅出的讲解，帮助学子们掌握最新的化学研究成果和趋势。这些理论知识将为学子们未来的学习和研究打下坚实的基础。集训营将为学子们提供一个全方位的学习与实践平台，帮助他们深化化学知识、提升实验技能、培养团队协作和沟通能力，并为他们的未来发展奠定坚实的基础。
In December 2024, our Senior High School Section students won 64 awards in the 2024 Canadian Chemistry Assessment (Junior Level) (hereinafter referred to as the ‘JCCO’), including 3 Global Bronze Medals, 7 Global Excellence Medals, 3 National Super Gold Medals and 10 National Gold Medals. 10 National Gold Medals.

The JCCO Chemistry Competition is one of the most prestigious chemistry competitions in Canada and enjoys a high level of academic reputation and recognition. It is not only a national qualifier for the Canadian Chemistry Olympiad (CCO), but also an opportunity for outstanding students to be selected for the national team to participate in the International Chemistry Olympiad (ICHO). It is highly prestigious and suitable for applications in chemistry, chemical engineering, medicine, materials, environment and other majors. Especially for Chinese students, winning this kind of competition award can be an important plus point in applying for relevant majors in foreign universities. As one of the world's top six chemistry competitions for high school students, alongside CCC UKChO, CCO and Avogadro's Chemistry Competition, its international reputation should not be underestimated.

Through this competition, some of the award-winning students were accepted by the 2025 Chemistry Challenge International Camp (RACI) and the 2025 Canadian Chemistry Olympiad National Team Camp (CCOCamp), and will travel to the International Chemistry Challenge Camp in Beijing and the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada, to participate in the Chemistry Intensive Camps in January and June 2025, respectively.
In the Chemistry Intensive Camp, students will be exposed to cutting-edge chemical theories and techniques. Through vivid cases and in-depth explanations, they will help students grasp the latest chemical research results and trends. This theoretical knowledge will lay a solid foundation for their future studies and research. The camp will provide an all-round learning and practice platform for the students to help them deepen their knowledge of chemistry, improve their experimental skills, develop teamwork and communication skills, and lay a solid foundation for their future development.
