“如果你可以用自己的双手,打造一个理想的家,你会怎么设计?”当老师抛出这个问题时,教室里一片安静。几秒钟后,每一双眼睛都闪烁着期待与兴奋。PBL项目式学习,不仅是一次手工挑战,更是对未来与梦想的描绘。
学期末,CEP双语小学的同学们迎来了最期待的PBL项目成果展。经过整整一个学期的学习与探索,同学们从0到1完成了一次探究学习。站在舞台上向家长、老师、同学介绍作品,回顾整个学习与创作经历,大家收获知识与成长,自豪感油然而生!
At the end of the semester, the students of CEP Bilingual Elementary School had their most anticipated PBL results presentation event: after a whole semester of learning and exploring, the students completed an inquiry learning from 0 to 1. Standing on stage to present their work to parents, teachers, and classmates, and reflecting on the whole learning and creating experience, they gained knowledge and growth, and felt a sense of pride!
从认识材料开始,“理想家”一点点成型
The "ideal home" is created by starting with an understanding of materials
“雪糕棒可以变成书架?超轻黏土能捏出沙发?”这是同学们第一次接触到如此丰富的材料——雪弗板、丙烯颜料、激光切割套件……
"Ice cream sticks can be turned into bookshelves? Ultra-light clay can make a sofa?"This is the first time the students have been exposed to such a variety of materials - chevron boards, acrylic paints, laser cutting kits ......
在老师的指导下,同学们拿起镊子,小心拼接模型框架。看着平凡的物品经过巧手变成独特的家居装饰,仿佛进入了一个创意实验室,每一步都充满惊喜与成就感。
Under the teacher's guidance, the students picked up tweezers and carefully assembled the model frames. Watching ordinary objects transformed by skilled hands into unique home decorations was like entering a creative laboratory, where each step was full of surprises and a sense of accomplishment.
“我要一个阳光洒满的客厅,还有可以读书的榻榻米!”在小组合作中,同学们的“理想之家”逐渐成型。用纸盒拼装出立体框架,用绿植和布料装点气氛,每一处细节都融入了大家的奇思妙想。
"I want a living room full of sunlight and tatami mats for reading!" Working in small groups, the students' "ideal house" began to take shape.
虽然手上沾满了胶水,但当迷你沙发和旋转灯逐渐成型时,大家都忍不住发出“哇”的赞叹。在“理想家”的完成制作过程中,三年级的同学们化身小建筑师,用双手打造属于自己的“梦想之家”。
Even though their hands were covered in glue, everyone couldn't help but exclaim "wow" as the miniature sofa and rotating lamp began to take shape.In the process of completing the "Ideal Home," the third graders became little architects, using their hands to create their own "dream home.
从“动物·家”到“绿色建筑”:创意课程的绽放

三年级的“理想之家”模型课是学校城市主题跨学科项目中的一个缩影。在这个体系里,每个年级的孩子都用自己的方式探索世界、表达想象。
The third grade "Ideal House" modeling class is a microcosm of the school's urban-themed interdisciplinary program. In this system, children in every grade explore the world and express their imaginations in their own way.
一年级《动物·家》作为“未来城市规划师”的最小成员,一年级的孩子们从动物的视角构建城市家园。他们研究鸟巢、蚂蚁窝等自然界的“建筑”。他们像动物学家一样,观察鸟巢构造,尝试用木板和树枝搭建鸟窝。孩子们用稚嫩的小手,创造出温暖的“动物家园”,更在实践中种下保护自然的种子。
As the youngest members of the Future City Planners, first graders are building a city from an animal's point of view. They studied the "architecture" of nature, such as birds' nests and ants' nests. Like zoologists, they observed the structure of a bird's nest and tried to build one with planks and branches. With their young hands, the children create warm "animal homes" and plant the seeds of conservation in practice.
二年级的探究从家庭内部空间展开,他们设计的“百变家具”既时尚又实用。为了满足“未来城市节约空间资源”的理念,他们发明了可以变形的书桌、折叠沙发,并通过科学建模与数学计算,展示了家具设计的可行性和多样性。孩子们将创意变为现实,锻炼了动手能力,学会了坚持与协作。孩子们在答辩环节用流利的双语讲解,让观众感叹他们对实际生活需求的敏锐洞察。
Starting from the interior space of the home, the second grade students designed "Variable Furniture" that is both fashionable and practical. To address the concept of "saving space and resources in the city of the future," they invented transformable desks and folding sofas, and demonstrated the feasibility and versatility of furniture design through scientific modeling and mathematical calculations. The children turned their ideas into reality, practiced their hands-on skills, and learned perseverance and collaboration. The children's fluent bilingual explanations in the defense session had the audience marveling at their keen insight into real-life needs.
环保与科技的结合是四年级展示的亮点。他们探索了建筑材料的可持续性,通过模拟实验对比了传统建筑材料和绿色材料的优劣,并设计出低碳建筑的模型。从阳台上的太阳能板到立体绿植墙,小组合作、智慧碰撞,每一个绿色元素都蕴含着孩子们对地球的热爱和责任感,每个细节都充满对未来绿色城市的思考。
The combination of environmentalism and technology was the highlight of Year 4's presentation. They explored the sustainability of building materials, compared the advantages and disadvantages of traditional and green building materials through simulation experiments, and designed models of low-carbon buildings. From the solar panels on the balcony to the three-dimensional green plant wall, group cooperation and wisdom collision, every green element contains the children's love for the earth and sense of responsibility, and every detail is full of thoughts about the future green city.
五年级的“海绵校园”微改造项目更是将校园变成了课堂。孩子们走出教室,从观测校园排水问题到提出改造方案,再到制作模拟装置,用行动践行“学以致用”的理念。
The fifth grade "Sponge Campus" micro-rehabilitation project turned the campus into a classroom. The children got out of the classroom and practiced the concept of "learning by doing" by observing the campus' drainage problems, proposing renovation plans, and creating simulation equipment.
六年级《绿电城市》项目聚焦能源与环境挑战,学生们学习太阳能、风能等绿色能源特性,设计全绿色能源供电方案。在展示中,学生化身“能源工程师”,通过动态模型展现创意设计。如“智能风能城市”结合风能与储能系统,“零碳社区”融合太阳能屋顶与微电网。模型精巧,讲解流畅,充分展现了对绿色能源的理解与责任感。
The 6th grade Green Power City project focuses on energy and environmental challenges, with students learning about the properties of green energy sources such as solar and wind, and designing an all-green energy power supply. In the demonstration, students acted as "energy engineers" and presented their creative designs through dynamic models. For example, the "Smart Wind City" combines wind power and energy storage systems, and the "Zero Carbon Community" integrates solar rooftops and microgrids. The models were exquisite and the explanations were smooth, fully demonstrating their understanding of green energy and sense of responsibility.

From first to sixth grade, each lesson allows children to become explorers and creators. They use practice and creativity to express their thoughts about nature, home, and the future. These projects not only cultivate hands-on skills and teamwork spirit, but also let them learn to change the world through design and protect their dreams through action.
